Monkey King Bar's True Strike works against every form of miss chance. This means it is a viable pickup when the enemy has sources of blind.

Nowadays, heroes like KoTL force heroes to buy MKB because he gets a solar crest.

Whats more solar crest debuff can be dispelled by the caster. This means wonders for carriers like phantom lancer that can cast solar crest on a hero and cast manta to dispel it from himself and create a huge armor gap.

Note that solar crest is now the most cost efficient physical EHP provider as 10 armor and 30% evasion go a long way.

There was a time pre nerf glimmer cape when I loved PL as position 3. Get glimmers and secure yourself good farm. Buy manta and solar crest and lo-behold your team now has 2 carries late game.
This gives me an idea on nerfing glimmer cape!!!

Oh how nice of you guys! thank you. let me see something on turn rates and we will laugh once 6.85 comes.

But but mkb does not disable it right, I mean it just allows the owner to bypass evasion..??

Sigh, okay I accept defeat.

BTW, have a doubt. Does Desolate occur even if the attack misses?

"Desolate damage is a seperate damage instance and applied before the actual attack damage hits. This means it damages even when the attack misses." http://dota2.gamepedia.com/Spectre

Ultra is right on one thing, I did not realize Kyphoid was asking for abilities that disable item passives, I only read the items part. But if you bypass evasion that's the same as disabling an item passive, since evasion is considered a passive.
