unfortunately by the time Tinkers new Aghanim's Scepter upgrade was introduced he wasn't picked for a while.what niche does aghs cover and is it ever worth to get at all?and if you do get it,where does it fit in his item build,right after BOT and blink,or something like 6th item?

Never. Just not worth it. Better off getting a Vyse.

It's super good if you are against a double-phys core (1 and 2) - something along the lines of Shadow Fiend / Templar Assassin mid and a generic safelane carry. The laser bounce is stupidly powerful.

Basically Wulfstan's got it.

I played this game a few hours ago. The Tinker got the Aghs because it suited the situation, namely Anti-Mage, Legion, and Sniper. Since I was Wraith King, there were several points where Tinker's Aghs Lazor saved me from getting mana burned by Anti-Mage to death, as it also affected his illusions.
