Question to Yzreel.

In the description of Radar, you say it's 70 Mana/second.

In the notes, there is a scaling.

Is that an inconsistency or am I missing something?

Sorry for not clearing it up, 70 MP cost is the activation cost, while the scaling is the MP cost per second. This works similar like Chakram

Lore:
In the land with no laws, the strong make the rules and the weak obey. Such a situation ran rampant in the desert wastes of Runen. The Runites peacefully lived off the land, until the warmongering Baln People invaded from the west and conquered the peaceful land by force. Many were not spared from the desert tribe's atrocities. Those who were were forced to work the infertile lands for their new overlords, who took everything for themselves and left only scraps for the starving people to scavenge. For many, poverty was inescapable and starvation inevitable.
Three generations were born under the dictatorship, and all three suffered while the Baln People grew in power and riches. Of course, such a system had many flaws. Constant Runite strikes and rebellions threatened the sovereignty of the overlords. In an attempt to keep the citizens in line, mercenaries were hired to brutally punish those who disobeyed their Baln overlords. In the process, an extremely talented young man, known only to the Baln as Arxon, was employed to keep the citizens in line.
But Arxon wasn't a mercenary. What the overlords didn't know was that Arxon had a strong connection to the people of Runen, for he was born and raised in the land of sand to a slave and his wife. When the opportunity presented itself, he was smuggled out of the land via a trade caravan, with hopes that he would live a better life elsewhere. But Arxon's plan involves something closer to home.
Arxon's quest to reclaim his lost homeland began with the assassination of a Baln overlord. With a glimmering sword in one hand and an expertly-crafted pistol in the other, the greedy overlords were punished in the name of justice. His enemies trembled as he shot and sliced his way through their ranks. In the span of 3 days, he had single-handedly led to the collapse of the entire Baln regime, ushering a new era of peace throughout the land. Those who had witnessed the culling praised Arxon's mastery of numerous combat techniques and his ruthless cunning. Indeed, he is unmatched by all who oppose him. He is above any law except his own. Arxon goes by many names, but is known by most as the Avenger of Runen.

Q: Clash
Type: Unit Target
Affects: Enemies
Damage: Physical
Blocked by Linken's Sphere on cast, blocked by spell immunity
Arxon dashes towards a target enemy and knocks it and himself back on contact, dealing damage. The target goes unconscious for a short duration afterwards.
- 700 cast range
- 1000 dash speed
- 80/140/200/260 damage
- 150 knockback distance
- 0.3 second knockback duration
- 1/1.5/2/2.5 second "sleep"
- 80 mana cost
- 13 second cooldown

When disarmed, most captors become as helpless as their slaves.

Notes:

W: Cover Fire
Type: No Target
Affects: Self
Arxon loads his pistol with ammo. This ability is replaced with Shoot! while ammo target this ability on an enemy to fire a bullet at the target enemy, consuming 1 bullet per shot. These shots deal damage based on Arxon's attack damage and apply a slow to the target.
- 3/4/5/6 bullets
- 70/80/90/100 mana cost
- 17/16/15/14 second cooldown

Arxon's skill with the sword can only be matched by his proficiency with firearms.

W (when gun is loaded): Shoot!
Type: Unit Target
Affects: Enemies

Not blocked by Linken's Sphere, not blocked by spell immunity
- 500 range
- 40% attack damage as damage per shot
- 40% slow
- 40% attack speed slow
- 2 slow duration per shot

Notes:

E: Frontier Justice
Type: Passive
Affects: Enemies
Not blocked by spell immunity
The first enemy hero within range that does damage will be marked for death. Enemies which are marked for death take additional damage from all sources. Only one enemy can be marked for death at a time. Damage taken from Arxon will refresh the mark duration. If an allied hero dies nearby, the damage amplification will be doubled on marked enemies.
- 1400 Range
- +5/8/11/14% damage taken
- 5/6/7/8 second mark of death duration
- 10/8/6/4 second cooldown

No crime will go unpunished.

Notes:

R: Execution

Blocked Linken's Sphere, not blocked by spell immunity
Arxon delivers a powerful thrust using his sword, dealing great damage.
- 200 cast range
- 400/500/600 damage
- 150 mana cost
- 60/40/20 second cooldown

The lawless may not live to see another day.

Notes:

Hero responses

Not to be confused with Marvel's Avengers, Arxon is a powerful hero which utilises burst damage to dominate the early stages of the game. He can use Cover Fire to gain a huge advantage in the lane, as it reduces the DPS of the enemy heroes severely, as well as deal some damage. Clash can be used to close the distance and deal damage, and its mana cost and cooldown is low enough for it to be used multiple times in a fight. It also has the handy "sleep" effect similar to Elder Titan's. Frontier Justice not only amplifies the damage taken by enemies, but also deters them from trying to kill your teammates, as it will double the amplification bonus. Execution, his ultimate ability, is his finishing move. This ability is very clear-cut like the enemies it has been used on, and it potentially allows Arxon to snowball into a huge threat. However, its cast range is abysmal and its cast time can easily be exploited. Clash's "sleep" effect has good synergy with this ability.
Arxon is a fragile hero, as his strength gain is lower-than-average for a melee hero. His abilities are also single-target based, and tunnel vision will be a problem for this hero. Silences also completely nullify his ability to kill and will most likely lead to his death. On the other hand, if enemies are caught unprepared, they will quickly be decimated. In a way, he is very similar to Lina, but Arxon prefers getting up close and personal to do his damage.
