I kind of include Faceless Void to the list of snowballing hard carries, just like Chaos Knight. Whenever you have your ult and one or two items, you can pick people off.

The problem with faceless void is that he needs to farm quite a bit before he can start looking for kills. Whereas a Slark or Chaos Knight can do it with just one or two items ( Blink Dagger for Slark and drum+ Soul Ring for CK). Void just doesn't have enough early game power to be able to do what most "snowballers" can do.

well void still only just needs a mask of madness. and he can set up stuff for his team which makes him viable as an offlaner compared to other snowball carries.

Problem with that is, with so many INT nukers around going MoM on Void is basically an ad for unwanted colonoscopies. Midas + Treads gives you enough IAS to get a kill on someone with maybe one other Hero there, and has the advantage of increasing your farm greatly. I still don't think Void is that strong, but they can't buff him or he'd probably be OP again.
There are two kinds of people in the world; those who can count, and those who can't.

well you dont need to get big teamfight ulties early, just go for some solokill chronos, if you dont need to defend an early push for example you can even throw one on a support for an easy kill.
i still dont see any situation where you dont get a mask of madness, the latest nerf has very little impact on him.
