This is more of a question of mechanics I guess, but how does the Silver Edge invis break work with Sleight of Fist?

For example, if Ember Spirit activates Silver Edge and finds a group of enemies and hits them all with SoF do they all take bonus damage and have break applied to them?

If so it seems kind of ridiculously strong, but I haven't seen it built yet. Most people still go straight for the bfury/crit/bfury/crit builds with an occasional skadi thrown in.

I haven't had time to test this myself, but being able to disable an entire team's passive abilities among other bonuses from the item seems crazy.

i would imagine that you break invis because you are using a spell, just as using phase boots or flame guard would break it.

But then how does Shadow Blade bonus damage get applied to Sleight of Fist?

Obviously not

It does... only if you do it in the fade time.

Nope, just tested it and you can only apply the break to one target if you activate Silver Edge during or right before Sleight of Fist, so Ember Spirit will break the hero he is hitting right after you activated it.

Yeah, thanks Dimony, +rep!

I think people were confused because of the "break" vs "break invisibility." I meant the actual "Break" debuff applied by Silver Edge which disables passives, not literally becoming visible after using the attack.

Thanks for the quick responses guys.

On the page for Silver Edge, it says: "Attacking during the fade time will inflict the 225 damage but will not apply the debuff."
On the page for Sleight of Fist, it says "Attacking all enemies inside the radius."

Also, while SoFing, even if you become invisible partway through, you will not become visible upon your next SOF attack, but will still apply the bonus damage as if attacking during the fade time. Also, unfortunately, you cannot crit on that 225 bonus damage :(

Hope I helped.
