Recently, I've been sick of these damn Troll Warlords and various other heroes that my hero of choice, Sand King, simply doesn't shine against. So, in some of my lower bracket games with my friends, I decided I would go.... why not make Sand King into Tinker? What did Tinker lose after TI4? The ability to farm before travel. SK also has enough mobility to survive the duration of enemy bkbs, and he has more innate nuking power than Tinker so he can snowball more easily. This build is the one usually used by Pirate, the top SK player on Dotabuff.

Basically, the item progression is simple. Boots, Blink, Soul Ring, Tranquils, Euls, Dagon 1, Eblade, Dagon 5, then whatever is left. It's a massive pickoff based SK and the burst damage for him is like, upwards of 2k, higher than a Morph Shotgun. It's less total damage than something like Discord, but the thing is, if you kill someone on their team early, its still suddenly 4v5. Euls Tranq is magical for staying out all the time, and Euls with dagger makes it so its very difficult to kill you.

I used it in two of my recent games.

First one: http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1400973261
In this first game, I admit we did not win because of me, mainly cause my friend's Pudge demolished our enemy's terrible draft. In this game, the burst damage ripped Gyro and Omni apart really hard, as well as Tinker himself.

Second game: http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1413074399
This was more recent. Basically, I kept us in the game (because both our carries were terrible) by throwing my nuke combo at everyone (I'm looking at you Troll!) who pissed me off, and none of them could catch me, except AM at the end. But that hero damage. That's akin to how much a Good tinker or a decent Zeus does over a game. Shame we still lost. AM too buff.

What do you think about the viability of this build, especially compared to the default Aghs/Discord ones? I ask to decide if I should add them to my SK guide.

Well SK farms extremely fast and he essentially doesn't scale with any item in the game except blink. So you can build pretty much whatever the hell you want so why the hell not go Dagon/Eblade. If you do that you need Refresher Orb btw, why the hell Euls? Euls is good against silence and that's it, or do you think the item is so overpowered that you should buy it on every hero? Be Tinker or go home :)

But if you like Blink/Euls/Dagon/Eblade builds, Bloodseeker is the hero you should be picking without question ^_^

Euls is awesome. Blink escapes are too good, movespeed to kite foes and also can set up epicenters on your pickoff targets. Reason picked up is same reason as SF, unlimited mana.

Refresher Orb, I find it rarely works on SK like I like it to, mainly because Epicenter takes 2 seconds to cast. The reason I chose SK for this is because he's really hard to pin down in fights, so he could actually do his annoying mobility **** long enough to cast his Dagon and burrowstrikes a second time. (As long as you're not dealing with Storm, he's a tough cookie). Maybe an Orchid tho. 30% more damage is useful.

This is the reason I find him better than BS at this. I'm not always a fan of your behavior Hamster, but I have a lot of respect for your ideas. I tried the Dagon BS when you first suggested it, and it works, but he seems to struggle later in the game, because Bloodrage's self damage amp becomes a liability in those late game fights and BS can't weave around combat like Tinker and SK can, kind of like why I don't buy Dagon on Necro.

Euls actually sounds decent on sk, sorta similar usage as shadow fiend I suppose, euls, channel ult and kill, although not as necessary for sk it sounds pretty good.
