I believe that Riki has great support potential.

1. He has a great AOE disable
2. He can use items without breaking his invisibility
(ex. Mekansm, Medallion of Courage, Wards
3. Great mobility which can help him to be a roaming support, everywhere at once.

Sounds like an underpowered Disruptor. I'd much rather have Static Storm than Smoke Screen...seeing that the miss chance component is useless as soon as people buy BKBs and MKBs.

that build is just like the aura-carrier riki that i suggested in my guide :D

but i have to disagree, riki is not that good as a support as he is in a #3 role (like windy).

I think what you're talking about there is a utility #3 Riki, which can make sense. Genuine supports are all about what you can do without much in the way of items or levels.

It's hard to see how a support Riki would lane - he can't really zone, help get early kills or really do much at all to help a carry.

Saw a riki trying to do it on synderens twitch stream, that guy was failing hard.

I think the major problem with a roaming/support/utility Riki is that, a Bounty Hunter can pretty much fulfill the same rule, while offering more with his Track and burst damage.
