Question for anyone in a team

Hey guys me and a couple o' pals of mine started a team and we want to do some leagues or tournaments and such in the summer after school ends. The problem is, we don't know how to join these things, and, surprisingly, I can find NOTHING helpful online that tells me how to. If you're on a team, tell me how to find these leagues and tournaments and how to enter them.

Whilst not in a team or anything, I know that JoinDOTA does a lot of events with open qualifiers, and a lot of lower tier focused stuff which is something to consider if you guys want to go up against other fairly new teams. And it's something to aim towards at least.

Yeah that sounds great Sanvitch! We're just experimenting this summer to get a 'taste' of the pros if you will. That sounds like a great option.

so for casual-amateur tourneys most of the time you will find them on Reddit.

for semi-amateur tourneys you will find them on bigger more dedicated sites like play dota and the like .

for casual games and scrims you will eventually just find teams to play against.

depending on where you are (server wise) there are a fair amount of teams wanting to scrim and play so once u start playing u will find them.

Are there websites where teams go to find scrims and such?

im actually in the process/collaboration of doing this atm so hopefully in the future it will be up and running haha

Between school and our own personal lack of organisation (and Australia's ****ty internet), we've never actually had a 'proper' team game :D Just a lot of 5-stacks, so you're still ahead on that regard too!
