Item build is ****...bkb is almost always situational. And no Vanguard!?!?! Razor is renowned for being an amazing tank carry and you fail to even put a heart as situational. A Sange and Yasha should also be somewhere, more strength for tankability, more move speed, very effective passive ability...yeah

I also disagree with your skill build. A standard is that you almost always max your nuke by 7, not link. Static Link's effectiveness really only comes into play during mid game. I like to max current after the nuke because the move speed is so great for ganks, although i will put a point of two into link though. I still don't understand why your ult isn't even lvled until 9....*face palm*

Sange and Yasha is just a subpar item in general. Heaven's halberd would be a better item.

Static link's effectiveness actually diminishes as the game progresses, since it drains a fixed amount of damage. For movespeed, phase boots are sufficient, as while you're draining, position yourself near the enemy and walk-attack them.

Get this right, Razor's best skills are his Q and W. His E is a welcome addition, as is R, but they're not the things that define Razor or gives him his strength. His R is also unreliable, especially in teamfights, as it is probably not going to target the opponent you'd want it to hit. There are even times I don't level R until 10.

I used to always rush SnY after Vanguard, but I don't build it as much any more.. I see it more as a situational item; meaning whether to rush BKB or not. I do agree making a 'situational' or 'luxury' category for your items would help. I highly recommend Crystalis/Daedelus, because.. c'mon you're going to be leeching 100+ damage in fights, why not turn that into massive crits?

EDIT: I'd also just like to say no matter how good link is I would never suggest taking it level 1. The nuke power of your Q just hits way too hard especially on squishies in lane. Also you put yourself in harms way too early if you're going to link people at level 1.

Thanks, Stank, for the feedback

Actually even if you want to add E, you could try adding only one point in it, and then max Link instead of E first. Yes, Razor is very good in small early game skirmishes as he can have damage underestimated by enemies.

I haven't exactly elaborated on late game items yet, but I'm probably going to try a few builds when I have the timme to get around to it.

Razor is one of my favorite carries in the game and one of my highest win percentages on a hero (85%). But I always max out Q and E. So naturally this was a very interesting read... never REALLY thought of maxing his Link right away. So yeah, well written... nice perspective.

EDIT: Just played a game of Razor last night. I actually decided to take an early point in my Link (Which I dunno why I never did before...) and it helped me get a 1v2 double kill. Was left with 30 hp but made it out. If you play Razor I highly suggest adding at least one or two points into Link early on if you generally max out his Q and E right away... Just one level into link helps a ton more than just another into his passive.
