Why even bothered taking Vlad's if KOTL's HP is ****py anyways.
In my opinion if you don't level up Illuminati early game you should max it last since it won't be that super anymore. Mana leak is way to go for harrasing and chasing enemy or escaping from it.

Illluminati is brilliant ganking tool in early game for double kill or even triple.

Travel boots are must since you can teleport your enemy to you.

Assuming this guide is putting KotL under a supportive role, the guide is quite viable. Illuminate is quite a nice skill to max early on however due to the push power it can provide and the damage you can dish out during team fights. Only grab Vladimir's Offering if and only if no one else has grabbed it before hand (as the lifesteal does not work for ranged heroes). Over all a nice guide, thanks for the contribution :)

I think the vlads is there for supportive reasons, since the aura only effects melee heroes, it could help the carry?
