Reasons for Skill Build

I know this skill build is much different than most but I have done this in pubs and I found out that the survivability and added mana from the added stats helps much more than sadist. Problem with sadist is that it becomes innefective very quickly mid game and with early bloodstone the added 200% mana regen added onto your early stat points compensates if not is supercedes sadist mana regen.

the early bloodstone

Early bloodstone for necrolyte is pretty much the bread and butter for a pub semi carry build. It helps him have survivability, he can spam his q throughout a team fight and to plow through lanes for quick tower drops. Of course if your team is having difficulty with team fights you'll probably have to resort to power treads or tranquil boots and go with a 22:00 minute bloodstone as opposed to a 15:00 or so stone.
Reason for tranquil boots if you get the early bloodstone is that after team fights if you are focused the survivability is that much easier with movement speed and hp regen and with no mana issues you really dont need treads.
For situational items I think that aghanims is the best to start off with because of how strong necros ulti beomes and the lower cooldown. If you are having trouble with surviving through teamfights then go pipe then linkens.

Pointers:
  • Don't write your guide in one sitting, develop it over the course of a few days. You will have more content and it will be of better quality this way.
  • Plan what content you want in your guide, guides are more than a skill/item build. You need to discuss your ideas in depth and give some context to your choices. That way you can help others improve and they in turn can help you!
  • Do not publish a guide without atleast a full skill build, item build and gameplay discussion. There is so much more that you can add to a guide but those 3 things are the minimum for a guide to become successful.
  • Be open-minded, not everyone is going to agree with your choices in items. Be flexible with your build and allow for community contributions to make their way into your guide if it is a viable option.
  • Take pride in your work, presentation is everything! It allows for easier reading and makes it appealing to your viewers. See -> Dr. D's Guide <-
  • Also take a look at some of the Top Rated Guides here on DOTAFire. They will give you good insight as to the quality of guide you need for yours to be successful!

Best of luck improving the guide, I look forward to seeing the end result. Have fun with it!
