@wulfstan, because you don't need any more than rank 1 feast and rage is a bkb with insane attack speed makes you a beast when you come out to fight where as extra ranks of feast are a waste.

my question to the guide maker is this: a.) why is AC in your core items but not in your build order and b.) what is the reasoning behind getting a maelstrom and then getting a big ticket item like daed while it is still unfinished?

If I were to recommend a change to your build it would be: scrap the buriza and mjollnir getting both of them isn't going to happen in a realistic game. go straight for a desolator after skull basher or even do it first. Putting two massive big ticket items (one of which wont be finished until after the other but started before) is just going to lead to a lot of late game bloat (carrying midas, treads, armlet, quelling, stout, tp) you have a full inventory and you'll likely want to have only one item coming down the pipe rather than two if you get a maelstrom and then a crysallis you'll be carrying ~4500g in two items rather than 4100g as one item. which means you'll either ditch your quelling/stout or not be carrying a tp which is dangerous as hell. I'd recommend pushing those into late game luxury and putting deso in its place.

Why max rage first if jungling?

Your item build is very good; smart choices there. Only thing I would add is to consider a Blink Dagger (or Shadow Blade for swag) if there aren't any good initiators on your team for you to Infest. Looking forward to this.
