Replays

I can say a bunch of things but a replay can give everything. So here are my recent replays of Traxex using the exact build above (All are given in replay ID, search them in the client and you will be OK).

1. 35985409

2. 34069752

3. 35872533 (Lost game but it shows the versatility of this build)

4. 33970820

Item justification

Force Staff:
This is one of the most sought after item in competitive game due to its usefulness and utility. Force ability will change how a hero works by a mile. I get this item on Traxex to give her an ability to escape ganks. It will also helps in chasing and team fight positioning. Coupled with Linken's Sphere, it will be extremely hard to get a successful gank on her. Force staff is also a replacement for yasha. In a nut shell, force > yasha. The ms boost from yasha is not on par to force in terms of keeping up with fleeing heroes.

Linken's Sphere:
The item build up for Linken's is great. Ring of health will allow her to farm safely. Most people get helm of dominator to help her hp up but really HotD is over rated. It is really hard and risky to get life regen with life steal. Ring of health is more stable and reliable. Since, I am going to auto cast her slow, the regen from this item will allow me to use it without ever worrying about her mana. Lastly, the spell block adds more to her survivability. In one game, my Traxex was owned by Naix + Skeleton King combo. The stun and slow from SK and Naix make her very easy to pick up. This item offers a solution to that. Coupled with force staff, she will be as hard to kill as AM.

Treads:
Attack speed boost and extra stats. Despite being an agility hero, Traxex has bad attack animation. Plus 25 attack speed will mitigate the awful attack animation a bit.

How Traxex kills

The way Traxex gets her kills are different from some carries like PA, Void or Morphling who dish out huge damage in a short amount of time. She is a slow killer. Her victims die slowly under her slow. So, that is why she does not need that damage items as badly as other heroes do. Also, she kills by getting her self out of enemy attacking range. Focused Traxex is a dead Traxex. Due to this reason, force staff is great on her.

No life steal?

I personally think early life steal is not good for most carry. For her it is even worst since she need to sacrifice her amazing orb. Yeah, you can orb swap but most people cant get it right. Also, the need to move the mouse over to activate the slow will cost you something may it be time or concentration. Slow is much better than life steal early to mid game. Life steal gives you nothing before late game but slow on the other hand gives you all you need to kill a hero.

i get it for better farming. when i play her, i dont expect to get early kills. early game for her is just farming and lane dominance. if i do find an opportunity i am quite willing to give it away since early game hero kills are not that important. it is for the extra life also. i know its not much but it will give some impact imo.
