How to play.

Rocket Flare (E):
Early game phase:
Whenever you can to poke.
Cancel healing salves and clarities.
Finish off laners that are backing off.
Support other lanes.
Deny enemy "pull camp". (preventing them from spawning by shooting it over at the 1min mark)
Farm enemy "pull camp".
Used together with your Q to clear and hold off enemy creepwave at their tower to effectivly push tower. (pull to a camp for more farm if possible)

Mid/late game phase:
Push lanes with global range.
Support team fights/chasing you are not in.
Scout victims for your hook. (F.ex. @ Ancient creeps to pick off carries that are off-guard)

Battery Assault (Q):

Early game phase:
Bodyblocking with mini-stuns to get your carry a early kill.
Used together with your E to clear and hold off enemy creepwave at their tower to effectivly push tower or to save your own tower. (pull to a camp for more farm if possible)
Deliver extra dps to enemy in cogs.
Cancel channeling spells with mini-stuns.

Mid/Late game phase:
Farming jungle.
Pushing lanes.
Used together with your E to clear and hold off enemy creepwave at their tower to effectivly push tower or to save your own tower. (pull to a camp for more farm if possible)
Deliver extra dps to enemy in cogs.
Cancel channeling spells with mini-stuns. (Example on how to use again Natures Prophet below)

Guide is still in the process of being made and I really really really feel like playing now because I've been out all day.

Just favorite it or something if you are interested in the rest that comes later.

Friends and foes.

FRIENDS ON THE ENEMY TEAM:
Any of the squishy/stealth high dps heros.
Examples: Drow Ranger, Phantom Assassin, late-game Natures Prophet, Templar Assassin and Clinkz.
Clockwerk might be the best counter to Natures Prophet splitpush IMO.
Mark the fact that Natures Prophet is not on the list below of one of those who escapes cogs.
Your battery assault/Q deals mini-stuns, not allowing him to use his teleport for 10,5seconds.
R/W/Q/Blademail and Natures Prophet is rendered useless and is a free kill.
NP tends to carry a shadowblade so pick up sentry wards/dust if he has one.
Keep him out of the game to avoid getting backdoored.
Once the game goes late and you have your tank items like heart/armlet you are a perfect carrier of gem to take out the stealthy heros.
FOES ON THE ENEMY TEAM:
Anyone that can easily escape the cogs.
Examples: Anti-Mage, Queen of Pain and last but not least Weaver.
The weaver can be countered if you keep one thing in mind and the weaver makes a bad move.
If Weaver is pushing tower or for any reason standing still for over 5 seconds, he can't get out with his time lapse/R, easy kill with sentry ward/dust.
Also be aware of anyone on the outside of the cogs who can still attack you or push you/their ally out with a force staff (Also dis-raptor that sends you back in time).

FRIENDS ON YOUR TEAM:
Ranged heros, heros who are able to support you from the outside and heros who can blink in depending on the situation.
Examples: Anti-mage, Phantom Assassin, Dazzle, Drow Ranger, Windrunner and Kunkka (There's a chapter on the bottom about Kunkka-Clock lane)

ENEMIES ON YOUR TEAM:
All the melee ******s who tends to always run into your cogs and dies.
The chen that returns you to fountain because he's afraid you're gonna die.
The kotl that always tries to support your kills with illuminate and gets last hit every single time.
