ADVANCED Weaver pusher 7.02
February 11, 2017
There won't be any detailed explanations about how this hero works because this guide was made for advanced players as a new style of playing weaver .
When i read other guides , in most of them weaver was described as a hero which can be played just as roaming-support or carry . But i knew it wasn't correct and decided to share my pusher/carry/team-player build with you (Pusher - main role) .
I think that this build makes weaver one of top 5 pushers in Dota 2 if played right.
So try it and feel free to comment :)
Skill sequence and gameplay
It's preferable that you go mid or solo if you are going for this build .
First skill you should take after taking rune is "Geminate attack" . When playing first 15 minutes you should use it almost always on enemy heroes (not farming) , that's how you keep their hp always low .
Next one is Shukuchi (Note : you need to be extra careful until you get your Shukuchi on 2nd level because you could be ganked) . With this skill you can push your lane , because you can easily escape with max move speed , moving through units and denying most slowing buffs . It would be good if you use it only for escaping critical situations or getting kills .
Then you need to take first skill so you can provoke your enemies more frequently , and start more aggressive play also farm easier .
After that you can choose between 2nd and 3rd skill , my choice is 3rd because you can spam more frequently . After that comes ult ...
Then it's up to you what skills you are going to take , but for this build is very important to max out 2nd and 3rd skills as soon as possible .
Later you can use your ult with "Teleport boots" and push 2 lanes in same time . (when you teleport to another lane you have 5 seconds to kill upcoming creeps and you can do it in 3 seconds with 2 maelstroms). Then you use ult that brings you back on your starting lane . In that purposes you can buy "Refresher orb" so when you use time lapse and teleport you can do it again and escape if ganked .
Items and gameplay
The point of this build is to get zone damage item (Maelstrom) as soon as possible so you can farm much faster .
Starting Items :
When the game starts you need to get as much attributes as you can by buying "Circlet" and 1 "Iron branches" (which later may or may not become "Magic Wand" and "Wraith Band"). There is also "TP" and "Fearie Fire" with "Clarity" as very important items ...
Early game Items 1 :
Then you get "Boots" so you can move faster to take runes or get kills and escape if you are out of mana and can't use Shukuchi . You also need "Town portal scroll" so you can quickly gank any lane if needed .
Early game Items 2 :
You need to buy "Ring of Aquila". And then "Dragon Lance" that will give you more hp , agility and range which is core for Weaver .
Core and Mid game Items :
As soon as you finish "Dragon lance" you need to get another core Item for this build , the "Maelstrom" . It will allow you to deal more damage , have more attack speed and get chain reactions that will deal zone damage and allow you to push and farm faster .
You can also buy few "Town portal scrolls" to become more mobile .
After that you need to get "Linken's sphere" that will give you more hit points and great mana regen , not to forget spell block every 13 seconds which is core for most pushers .
After that you need "Teleport boots" so you don't need to spend more money on "Scrolls" . You can get another Maelstrom" , it's completely your choice .
Final build and Optional Items :
Firstly you need to upgrade "Maelstrom" to "Mjollnir" . That's how you will max out your attack speed and also get more chain damage .
Your 6th items for final build is optional . But "Monkey king bar" proved as one of best . There is also "Desolator" that would be good idea for towers and lowering enemy armor along with 1st skill . Of course , you can also sell "Dragon lance" and buy "Heart" instead , or "Octarine" or even "Refresher orb" (I explained before) but that's up to you .
Also if enemy team has silence or disablers , best item for you would be "Black king bar" .
Of course , you can sell "MKB" and buy "Bloodthorn" that will also give you true strike on silenced units , but it's not good idea if they have "Black king Bar" or Linken's Sphere"
It's up to who you play against , so choose these optional items wise .
Pushers are also known as great in teamwork because they can do splitpush easily . Also sometimes destroying enemy towers can be more important than killing an enemy hero ...
That means that sometimes you can be great team player if you play this build for weaver because of your zone damage that deal damage to multiple heroes at same time ...
You can save your teammates with your ult if you buy scepter . It would be perfect if you had alchemist in team so you wouldn't need to buy scepter . Also you can put your sphere on important players in team and be their support in teamfights .

3. AS SOON AS YOU CAN , GET KEY ITEM "MAELSTROM"
4. PLAY SAFE , ALWAYS EXPECT GANKING AND BE SURE TO HARASS ENEMIES WITH YOUR 3rd SKILL (TAKE CREEPS WITH IT ONLY IF ENEMY HEROES PULL BACK)
