Thought I would start a thread about a game or games that you love and you would definitely recommend playing.

I am going to talk about The Walking Dead game, more specifically the second game. I relates to the walking dead tv show in terms of setting and happenings, but the storyline is completely different. I just finished the second game and boy, it was so action packed. I won't spoil anything because it is a game that you MUST play to get the real feeling. It is essentially an interactive story, with a couple of QuickTime events, the game strongly revolves around the choices you make, save this person on leave them? Some of the choices are INCREDIBLY hard to make, and all of the big ones always have a bad side to them. It is insanely intense, pretty gory too actually and very sad. I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of big storyline based game and someone who would rather a more relaxed game than shoot em ups or something. I hear you ask, aren't you too young to be playing this game? Well yes I guess, I heard about it from a youtuber and kinda blindly picked it up and loved it since.

Have you played this game? ^^
And what are some of your favourite games you would recommend to almost anybody? Make sure to check the above game out if you are interested and tell what you think of it!

I would definitely recommend any Assassins Creed game. The action is just magnificent and it actually increases my reflexes. The storyline was rather fine, but the abilities in the game is the true defining of this game. The sixth sense, your insane parkour skillz, stealth killing, and also the superhuman fighting techniques, it simply is an incredible game. There are so many things to do: missions are always interesting, exploring is just so good with your abilities, capturing forts with the sneak or fight strat, side quests, and so many more.

The stealth is, arguably, the best feature in the game. You can pull and drop targets roght above in the platform you are climbing, double kills from the air, shooting stealth arrows or blowpide, and even HANG the target in the platform. It was rather gory, yes, but it is definitely a game that will just stole your heart. And yes, im probably too young to play this game, but heck, this is fun.

Sadly, I never played Black Flag before. But seriously, 10/10 would recommend.

Lord of the Rings Online is a good game if you're a fan of Tolkien's writings. It's not your typical MMO, in my opinion. Firstly, it builds on LotR and, to a lesser extent, the Silmarillion. The game's community is possibly the nicest community in any game, definitely in any game i've played. There are a lot of little things that make it enjoyable. For example, there's a hostile NPC in the game who screams things like "Hold the branches aloft, they will protect you!", and when you kill him he says "they...failed?". You can play through the entire game without paying a dime, although it is quite a good grind from level 40 onwards.
There's no earthy way of knowing which direction we are going. There's no knowing where we're rowing, or which way the river's flowing. Is it raining, is it snowing? Is a hurricane a-blowing? Not a speck of light is showing, so the danger must be growing. Are the fires of Hell a-glowing? Is the grisly Reaper mowing?! YES! The danger must be growing! For the rowers keep on rowing! And there's certainly not showing ANY SIGNS THAT THEY ARE SLOWING!

If you are a fan of RTS games / Warhammer 40k, the Dawn of war 2 series is good (particularly retribution)

An old favourite - Company of Heroes (the FIRST ONE), probably the best RTS ever.

Turn based stealthing - Invisible, Inc (currently pre-release, but excellent)

Shooter/Co-op - Insurgency. Realistic military shooter that's nicely pitched.

Fable.

I bet some older users will agree with me. That game is probably the most charming, beautiful game I have ever played. Great humour, awesome voice acting, excellent music and brilliant story. Fighting is also well thought. I am obviously talking about a Fable from 2004. Still looks great. There is also a 2014 refreshed HD version of that game on Steam. Take a look.

I've been playing Wasteland 2 recently, been having fun. If you're into games like Fallout 1+2 and XCOM you'll like Wasteland 2.

Also recently got Democracy 3 and damn, you cannot make everybody happy ._.
