I have been getting about 10 friend requests a day recently... starting around 10-14 days ago.

i look and they either seem to be normal player around 1000 games or a newbie around 100-200 games.

AND EACH AND EVERY SINGLE ONE THE FIRST THING THEY ASK IS ..... can i trade you your items.

as soon as they do i delete them... why why would i trade you my immortal dk set with autographs and 3 gems. why ???

i would never do it.

yet i keep getting these people ...

anyone else getting this happen to them?

its getting annoying :(

Nope. Kinda reminds me of those people who would spam in MMOs asking for money.

Trade with me. Now.

Joking, and that is really bad for you.

My brother got a friend request once. The dude invites for a party, but my brother decline.

My brother was unfriended.

And its not a set 😁

I seem to get a lot of these too.
Some guy with a russian name adds me and says 'giff golden gravil'
So I say ' what for'
He says 'see inventory'
I look at his inventory, 0 immortals, 0 mythicals hardly anything. I say
'If i took all your items it would still be a **** trade for me' He replies with
'cyka' and promptly unfriends me.

They are scammers I believe, if they send you another steam link.

I get a handful of requests to trade for my Magic Carpet Smeevil, it got a bit out of hand during the summer so I just made my steam and dota profiles private, can't ask for trades if they can't see your inventory. Although when you deny someone a trade and they continue to push and get feisty it's kind of funny, digital items for a video game are just a life changing necessity to some I guess.
Step 1: Pick Bristleback
Step 2: type in all chat:"GL hf"
Step 3: solo offlane
Step 4: first blood triple kill solo vs trilane
Step 5: continue head butting keyboard
Step 6: don't care, Bristleback doesn't give a ****
Step 7: screenshot repeated: BB OP comments in all chat
Step 8: alternate games with Slark pick

If they spam another trade request, just Block them next time.

If they're on your friend's list and you don't play with them, unfriend them.

If they share a group with you, e.g. PurgeGamers or something, consider if you really want to be in that group if you're going to get spamme.

Literallly got a new guy (100-150 games) friending me (I accepted, because my brother usually goes on my account to make CS:GO friends)and then asking me if I wanted to trade MY SPEED DEMON COURIER for his "epic"......Well, i'll post the link for what he was offering me.

And yes, he legit offered THIS.
