Oh don't worry, people at initial matchmaking won't really mind you not roaming.

It's a very valuable skill to pick up though, so practicing it would be good.

Yeah, I realize. Just, the way that people think pf Dota supports doesn't exactly lend itself to lanning. Grant you, I love Kotl (Buff incoming) and Jakiro but I unno. I've also been liking Troll Warlord and Huskar because their fun :P

Don't bother with such things as roaming, pulling and ***** at start because 99% of time supports at low lvl don't even buy wards or courier, so if you do that they should be really happy. And remember to mute your team and enemy team at start of game :D
