If you really have a problem with players in your bracket, go to EU W, they have better players located in that region though you may have some russians on your team but your game experience may be better.

so since everyone on here is talking about horrible players from different regions i thought i could ask you all,

is there any truth to the rumour that Valve/IceFrog is working on an IP based check system for region servers?

i read it somewhere that Valve is currently working on a way to check whether or not the connecting player is within the country the server is located and if they are not then they cant connect to any games hosted on that server. so for me that means the Sydney/ Melbourne server is AUS, is my region server and since i am in the locale i can play games on that server but anyone outside the region will be banned.

pls pls pls tell me its true

I WILL DESTROY YOU ALL.... WITH FLUFFY BUNNIES

Sorry, but it sounds fake to me. I'm UK (EU West) and I sometimes play with friends on US East. Is Valve really going to stop me from playing on US Servers?

Honestly, I'd rather they just limit the amount of different languages and servers you can search at any one time to 1 and 2 respectively. It won't affect teams and 5-stacks who will already have a common language/server preference, and having 2 different server regions available lets groups from 2 different regions choose diplomatically. I don't mind struggling to communicate with an Italian who has no choice but to pick "English" as his nearest language, but this would be enough to cut down on the amount of Russians that English speakers have to put up with.

As a player specialized in playing supports, I'm kinda stuck with my solo queque MMR... I can't seem to go higher that 2300 .___. I'm definitely no pro, but I realized that even when I'm better than the entire enemy team, if the allied carry plays really badly our team is still ****ed, since as a support I can't carry the game. In those cases I try my best to help my carry to farm and shut down the enemy carry, but sometimes it's not enough :/
