Still talking about the concede option? Trust me, that would ruin Dota. Most of the people are indifferent about it, but when they'll realize it makes wins tasteless and prevents your team from getting a comeback they would surely regret about wanting it.

I've never played LoL, almost (just played it when I wasn't into MOBAs, and I moved to Dota years after I stopped playing LoL), but I played some Smite and the concede option really pisses me off. Please don't add it to Dota.

As has been suggested, there will be a vote that could be either 4/5ths or unanimous to decide to concede the game. It will be a team decision.

Why don't you mass disconnect then? I would be faster and without drawbacks, provided you all disconnect in less than 5 minutes. For team matches, where you know everyone in your team, there's already the "gg" option; when playing with strangers I think the concede option would be a huge mistake.

Even if you don't mount that comeback, killing the dudes fountain diving is hilarious. If you concede all the time **** gets bad, you'll never experience those epic comebacks. Remember one time w Drazy, we were getting crushed, 2 rax down, 1 mid tower left, and I managed to get off a 5 man black hole, while our sven picked up a rampage, scooped up the rapier the other teams kunnka dropped, and we counter pushed and won the game.
Dragg out a game to 70+min and defeat a fed medusa after we disarm and silence her, than I said good day with axe..you concede you miss out on a lot of awesome moments. It's part of dota

The only problem is, these comebacks are only usually doable when some idiot decides a Divine Rapier is a good idea on the winning Team.

*reminisces* Ahh, Bloodseeker! How foolish you were to let our Dusa have enough Damage to cut a line through your entire Team and head straight for the throne...

Were we in the same game? I remember doing exactly that as the Medusa in an epic comeback lol

Or you just win a teamfight at the right time...epic black holes, RP, chronosphere. The game can shift massively, especially in pubs where the winning team may just derp around and farm instead of push, get picked off and allow the other side to catch up
Step 1: Pick Bristleback
Step 2: type in all chat:"GL hf"
Step 3: solo offlane
Step 4: first blood triple kill solo vs trilane
Step 5: continue head butting keyboard
Step 6: don't care, Bristleback doesn't give a ****
Step 7: screenshot repeated: BB OP comments in all chat
Step 8: alternate games with Slark pick

Everyone who is against this just keeps changing the subject as an avoidance technique; attempting to stone wall the facts... People would disconnect from the game if there was no low priority. And in fact they even do so regardless, then get punished by the game's manufacturer as a result.

As for the troll... he obviously doesn't know how to count, so I will address that matter no further.

That depends? Do you remember someone making fun of you for picking Dusa, because "she's boring", only to reply that you only picked her because you loved her mythos?

Comebacks are what make the game so fun!

I remember my first ever Wraith King game (I never actually played him when he was a skeleton) that I randomed. After 30 minutes, the enemy team had an extremely fed level 25 clockwerk with non-stop kills. My team was panicking and screaming GG, but I said "Chill, their clockwerk has no last hits, he has no items".

I told them to keep pushing and leave me to farm in the jungle. 5 minutes later, they had megacreeps in our base, but I told everyone - chill, I will defend, just push mid. I kept defending, while the enemy team kept killing my own, until I noticed I had slowly gathered: Power Treads, a Heart of Tarrasque,a Desolator, an Abyssal Blade, a Daedalus and a Blink dagger.

After killing my whole team, Clockwerk shouted out "GG, Give up Wraith, let us push and finish now". They were 40 kills ahead. I ignored him, so he hookshotted me, leaving his team, expecting a lower level hero he could easily kill. I two shotted him, destroyed two other heroes in a few attacks, and blinked up behind Jakiro. My team were shouting "LoL", but I told them to buy back and defend our base.

I finally caught up with Leshrac, their last hero, outside their base, and again one-shot him, before destroying all the towers, and the ancient, with the help of Sniper. The game finished 7 seconds after an hour. I was happy.

Can never count out your team, I'll play devils advocate, give us a I I player vote like Hon had, that would be awesome. We've all had the 4v5 victories, but waiting for that 1 douchebag to DC takes too much out of you, if you could kick him, life would be easy.

Wow, is it a lack of imagination, lack of gameplay experience, or an amazing amount of free time to wait around for broken games to finish for the anti-concede crowd? There are intentional feeders out there, people. I just finished one tonight where our 0-18 necro just walked down the lane, died without casting, and wouldn't or couldn't communicate. A 4 of 5 vote to concede is an extremely reasonable request. And I absolutely agree that comebacks are a great part of the game, but if you can't convince one other teammate that you have a shot at it, well, sorry but it doesn't balance out the waste of time of everyone else when the game is obviously busted.

That's somebody to report, and should not be used as an example for conceding. Not saying feeders aren't annoying but they get punished and therefore shouldn't be used as part of an argument.
