Hey guys,

I'm a decently skilled player from California, been looking for a steady team for a while.

One of my previous teams is about to start getting active, but due to schedule mix-ups, we are almost never able to get games in as a team.

So I decided to try and start fresh.

I'm pretty deep in the mechanics of the game, I understad roles, trilanes, and all that good stuff. I can draft pretty well and follow the competitive scene in my spare time.

As far as my playstyle goes, I love to pile on the pressure and give no space for the enemy team to do anything, similar to western-style competitive dota.

I can analyze drafts, make good predictions about what the enemy team would probably run, and make smart bans to deny powerful, synergizing picks.

Sadly, as much as I love dota, I have school and basketball on Monday-Friday, so only find the time to play freely on Fridays-Sundays, as well as long weekends/breaks.

I have a Skype and a Teamspeak client(my friend has a server we can use, but I don't want to count on it, as it's unpredictable what can happen with a server run by a guy from Europe), and I'm going to be installing Ventrilo soon.

What I'm looking for is to create or join an established team of flexible players who have a similar playstyle and can practice on weekends. I'd prefer it if you could use skype to communicate.

I expect that anybody who is interested has a decent knowledge of the competitive scene, understands and plays heroes in the current meta, has an aggressive playstyle, and can practice on Fridays/weekends.

Thanks for reading my post, and I hope to see you on the battlefield!

Hey. I've been interested in joining a moderately serious team for awhile. I'm Midwest based, and bust often with class and athletics, but generally weekends I'm fairly free, and I try to get on when I can. I'm a pretty strong mid laner and jungles, usually have a good map awareness, probably the 2 or 3 spot depending on who I draft. I'm flexible in who I play, being able to take anyone from CM to Sven (with varying degrees of success). I'll admit, I don't follow the pro circuits as much as I should, but I keep up with meta, often trying to push new combinations myself. I have a good head for the draft, as well, and like to play things quick, taking the enemy in mid game rather than late.

Sorry for the block of text, just trying to give you my style while typing on a kindle. Hit me up if you wanna play, currently my steam is Brodo Swaggins.

Hi,
I actually look to be very similar to the both of you who just commented. I am looking for exactly what you want, and of course for our team to be able to communicate well (in english!)
I am a mid skilled player who can perform sometimes better with high skilled players.
I live in Massachusetts, but can play on any us server!
I can play mid or hard carry, and can even do some supports. My key heroes are Puck, Timbersaw (mid), Antimage as a hard carry. (Give me 20 minutes with antimage and a decent laning stage and we win no matter what :) These are just my best hero's I can play any hero at all pretty well. I have work during the week as well, but i am very active on weekends.
On a side note, even though it seems like a lie (which it is not), I know many pros in the scene (I have met s4 at the international in person, which is why i change my name as a fan of his.)including some american teams as well as some Europe teams as well.
I love aggressive playstyles really well
My strengths are that I (in my opinion) can make very good game changing decisions mid-late game that effect the team as a whole and win us a lot of games. I was on another team, and we did a lot of LAN Tourny's, but they all had to stop and get on with their lives.

I really love dota, please talk to me vie steam for more info!!!

Yeah, I have also tried to start teams (As Zoidberg knows) but also due to school and musical theater and all that jazz I have been unable to play much lately.

After our final performance this saturday I should be able to play a bit more. I am decently skilled in every role in the game and understand laning, item builds and heroes.

Now I would defienetly be interested in joining an active team. My new Steam name is BKvoiceoverGames so shoot me an invite on steam when you get the chance.

While I can play any role needed my best roles are Support, Carry and Initiator. Plus I am also good at adapting to different strategies on the fly.

See you on the battlefield,

-BK

Sorry. I was on my kindle and couldn't get to the Steam profile and what not. History class was just boring on Thursday, that's why I was on.
