Sniper is still a very squishy hero, if you focus him the first 10 minutes and kill him constantly, he will most probably be useless the rest of the game.

I meant it as a joke, he's still a terrible hero. Adding a little extra range won't solve his problem...

Anyways, with the pull camp swap, could it be possible that dual mid lanes could return into the meta? I believe na'vi ran one recently vs EG

6.8a
  • Sniper now has global range on auto attacks, additionally this is applied at all levels.

That doesn't happen until 6.8b though, so I'll just stay on this patch until 6.81.

Played a few last night - few impressions:

- Warlock, it's weird not having damage on Chaotic Offering, doesn't really make much difference though. Range increase on Upheaval is nice but hardly gamebreaking - overall not much difference.

- Venomancer, loving the new Plague Wards, having bonus damage on them makes them much more interesting. Once you hit level 4 Poison sting your wards are (very slowly) doing an extra 150 damage per hit!

- Invoker, god he seems even more powerful now. This was observed rather than played, but he seemed even more effective than usual.

- Slark, weird not buying any detection for him (as there's no point). Not totally sure about this change really, course he can't do it very often, but it seems kind of OP. You really need good AOE spells to try and deal with him.

- Skeleton King, kinda hard to tell. Many people who play him still seem to be terrible.

- Pudge, Blink Dagger with Dismember is pretty evil (easy Meat Hook follow up). Gives the bad Pudges a chance to fail less.

- Night Stalker, early nighttime is overall better for him, as you're not having to be underpowered in lane for as long, but you have much harder choices to make regards Void/Silence/Passive as you won't have so many early levels.

- Meepo, the player who picked him in during one game seemed pretty happy with the level 4 2nd Meepo, we still lost of course :)

Still waiting to see on the rest!

Has the patch been activated into captain's mode (ie. the competitive scene)? I'm really wanting to witness a Dendi Blink Pudge. :3
