Update#2: Due to the high number of people adding me and not being really what we are looking for... Please at the very least be in the very high skill bracket and have 100 hours played in the last two weeks.

Update: We are still looking for more players. If you think you would be a good fit on the team please feel free to add me reguardless of what role you play.
Hey everyone!

My name is Toby and I along with the two people I play with regularly are looking for a couple others to finish our lineup and try to become a semi-pro/pro team. We play on USW.

Our current DBR ratings:

We realize DBR is not the be all and end all a good player but we thought it useful to throw this out there to make sure anyone thinking of responding is in the same ballpark. Obviously we feel our rating will go up considerably when we fill our two spaces and all learn to work well together.

Roles: While we currently do have roles we usually play, we are willing to shuffle around a bit for the right player who wants to play a specific role.

What we are looking for in our final two players:

People who play many hours every day - As the captain of the team, I am not working or going to school and am fully dedicated to dota right now. The others guys do have a couple things going on in their lives but generally we are able to get in over 60 hours/week. We realize most people can't do this and that is one of the major reasons it's so hard to put a serious team together. Unfortunately if you aren't willing/able to make a serious and consistent time commitment this isn't the team for you.
People who are extremely proactive about improving - We talk openly about each others mistakes without really criticizing. We watch certain parts of replays for losses or hard fought wins. We talk about OUR OWN mistakes so as to have them out in the open and make sure they are being addressed. We will play the same hero for 50 games in a row if necessary. If any of this is too tryhard for you then this isn't the team for you.
People who are extremely mannered and mature - We don't trash talk and we let people pause.
Spoiler: Click to view

People who communicate and listen well - Knowing what information is useful for rest of the team to have and consistently communicating it when you can is very important to us. Being able to focus on what you are doing while listening for MIA calls or plays from the captain is as well.

I almost always make the picks and call the plays during the game. Players can suggest things other than what I call during the game at which point I'll agree or disagree and we'll act accordingly. If a player (even someone new to the team) thinks a pick or call was bad they are encouraged to bring it up and discuss it after the game but not during.

I think that covers most of what I wanted to say. If you are interested in a tryout then feel free to add me on skype
