Update: We are still looking for more players. If you think you would be a good fit on the team please feel free to add me reguardless of what role you play.
Hey everyone!

My name is Toby and I along with the two people I play with regularly are looking for a couple others to finish our lineup and try to become a semi-pro/pro team. We play on USW.

Our current DBR ratings:

We realize DBR is not the be all and end all a good player but we thought it useful to throw this out there to make sure anyone thinking of responding is in the same ballpark. Obviously we feel our rating will go up considerably when we fill our two spaces and all learn to work well together.

Roles: While we currently do have roles we usually play, we are willing to shuffle around a bit for the right player who wants to play a specific role.

What we are looking for in our final two players:

People who play many hours every day - As the captain of the team, I am not working or going to school and am fully dedicated to dota right now. The others guys do have a couple things going on in their lives but generally we are able to get in over 60 hours/week. We realize most people can't do this and that is one of the major reasons it's so hard to put a serious team together. Unfortunately if you aren't willing/able to make a serious and consistent time commitment this isn't the team for you.
People who are extremely proactive about improving - We talk openly about each others mistakes without really criticizing. We watch certain parts of replays for losses or hard fought wins. We talk about OUR OWN mistakes so as to have them out in the open and make sure they are being addressed. We will play the same hero for 50 games in a row if necessary. If any of this is too tryhard for you then this isn't the team for you.
People who are extremely mannered and mature - We don't trash talk and we let people pause.
Spoiler: Click to view

People who communicate and listen well - Knowing what information is useful for rest of the team to have and consistently communicating it when you can is very important to us. Being able to focus on what you are doing while listening for MIA calls or plays from the captain is as well.

I almost always make the picks and call the plays during the game. Players can suggest things other than what I call during the game at which point I'll agree or disagree and we'll act accordingly. If a player (even someone new to the team) thinks a pick or call was bad they are encouraged to bring it up and discuss it after the game but not during.

I think that covers most of what I wanted to say. If you are interested in a tryout then feel free to add me on skype

I fill every spot for you guys but the only problem is that my DBR is like, in the 1300. I mostly play solo queue and that might be the reason why? I dunno, I never cared for DotaBuff. I can say that I have been playing Dota for a good 3-4 years of my life now and that also includes switching to and from HoN. If you want information, add my steam,

Just sent you a friend invite and fit all of your criteria. Okay maybe not all the criteria, I like to tease people when they fail. For instance if my buddy goes mid and he gives the enemy first blood, I'll say "reported for intentional feeding", but he knows I'm joking and I know he didn't intentionally feed, that's just the way we talk to each other. I don't do it to flame people , just to joke around. But I do have a lot of time on my hands ( like you, I have no job or school ) and I do have a strong interest to improve and start making money in tournaments. I play a bunch of initiators pretty well and I can land skill shots pretty easily except for Shackle Shot. I need a BUNCH of practice with my Shackle Shot...

Hello. If you are still looking for a mid solo hard lane or carry player I would be interested. My main role is solo mid as Quas wex invoker tinker storm goblin shredder and QOP. I can also play hard lane as windrunner and dark seer. I also play a very good alchemist and phantom lancer. My dotabuff rating isn't the highest but it is more a reflection of my teammates in game and getting used to the items and engine from HoN and LoL. My steam name is pacothetacod.og if you are interested

I am teamless looking for a group of players to compete at a high level with.
I've been playing on and off, so I'm half way between rusty and seasoned.

I'm available to play a few days a week, and a few hours a week.
Not ideal for most teams, but when I come to play it will be 297%.
Add me on steam, SupagreeN.

I've played competitively in a different game for many years, LAN & Online. (see steam profile)
My mindset is right, and all the tangibles are where they need to be; game knowledge, communication, awareness, and mechanics.

I am looking to compete in MLG & LANs - I can pay my own fees, and possibly more.
This includes me being a back-up, or an occasional starter if need be.

Thank you for your consideration. Supa out.
