Introduction

Hello all! This build needs some work in the text section but I just wanted to get my build order out, feel free to comment.

Items (Build #1)

Starters

Start out with 1x Tango, 1x Clarity and 1x Healing Salve (this potion is extremely important if you're going to solo lane or mid).

The gloves are just to have better survivability and eventually upgrade them into a bracer or two.

The branch gives an extra bit of stats instead of having a Tango/Clarity more, which I prefer.

Early Game

Once you're last hitting and getting gold, I'd suggest getting your boots next followed by a bottle.
The bottle is great for recovering HP/MP and staying longer in lane without having to return in base. Along with the fact that quite a lot of runes are useful to Zeus and that when you bottle them, you get an additional 3 charges. This provides a long sustainability for Zeus to stay on the map and help out with ganks.
When returning to base, consider making your gloves into bracers if you have the spare gold.

Mid Game

Once you have a bottle, bracer and your boots, your next move should be to upgrade those boots to Arcane boots since Zeus has some problems with his mana, especially when harassing and/or doing his burst damage.
After this, you should definitely start working on his Aghanim Scepter, starting off with the Staff of Intelligence.

Late Game

Personally, I feel Zeus still has a strong late game. After you have your Aghanim Scpeter, it becomes extremely annoying for the opposing team to be low, as they always have to be on their guard and you can assist ANYWHERE on the map. The Refresher Orb allows you to have INSANE burst at the cost of your mana bar, but it is extremely worth it. Once you have the Refresher Orb, start working on other situational items.

Items (Build #2)

Coming soon...have to test it out more.

This build has about the same early game as build #1, but focuses less on having a strong burst with ult and more on sustainability, along with using bolt and arc for damage.

Skills

Adressing the skills shortly:

Arcane Lightning: great for last hitting and doing small damage outputs. It chains to other units (including heroes) so this is great for harassment too. Due to the speed of this skill and the low mana cost, I leave this at level 1 until further notice.

Lightning bolt: very good damage in early and mid game, in late game a bit less but nevertheless still very effective. Gives you and your team sight for a short while after so can be used to help out other characters in need of the vision/range.

Static Field: VERY helpful since any skill does a set percentage of damage. Once you have bolt, I suggest upping this next. You'll notice the damage once you start using all your skills on a hero.

Thundergod's Wrath: the infamous (?) ultimate of Zeus. Hits every enemy unit on the map. Great for getting the heroes who just escaped or dealing big damage at the start of a team fight. This ultimate, when used correctly, will drive the other team insane.

Conclusion

Since this is my first guide, any comments are appreciated. I have not played DOTA2 that long but am really liking Zeus.
Hopefully this guide helps any other aspiring Zeus player rock the house!
