I usually take a lane to the side and have a support with me. Kill creeps and soak up the XP from them. Once you have your ultimate and vlad's offering you can take Roshan out solo. Use your ultimate in conjuction with overpower and he will fall quick.
Next begin working on maelstorm and mjollnir. These make your attack speed go through the roof.
Increase your base stats and damage at this point. Divine rapier with overpower makes you a wrecking ball but I usually try to get lower items. I like battle fury because of the cleave and the bonuses with it. It is really about adding more base stats and damage at this point.
