Even if they have big nukers, if used wisely it's still a great item. I wouldn't consider it situational.

Very similar to my build. Morph is an amazing and terribly misused hero. Hadn't thought about the orchid, veil combo but i really like the idea. Yes ethereal blade makes you way vulnerable to big nukers but their mostly all tasty targets for your shotgun

Etheral Blade against a Lina, Lion, Luna, Zeus,QOP,Pugna/Anyone with a dagon is pretty much a 1 hit death, assuming you AGI morph to get the most out of your Eblade; leaving you with **** all HP in the first place, I tend to find this item more situational than anything else.
