it does 30% damage to towers, at its highest level it does about 14 damage per second to towers which is terrible. its intended for when you are running away. fire shrapnel ahead of you then the enemy will be slowed and you can make a getaway. headshot and take aim need to be maxed first as they give you amazing lane dominance and you can attack towers without going into their range

No.Early shrapnel has a very good DPS and the slow wil ensue some more hits dealt onto your target.Headshot is just too random.

36 DPS is insane in an early game gank.

I'd rather delay one level of headshot instead of one level of take aim for shrapnell (but probably not getting it at all, because one level doesn't cut it). But you said it's optional, so alright.

Early Orb of Venom for ranged heroes.... very questionable. 4% slow isn't much. It is something, but I doubt that you have the inventory slot and have the freedom to get stuff you don't need early on. Because a Salve and a TP or something probably is more useful.

not sure if trolling o_o

rule 1 pick sniper be prepared to die alot
the playstyle of sniper isn't to take on enemies 1 on 1 hence the low hp, this hero isn't designed to fight alone and is best used when you are playing with teammates that distract them.

the only way to play sniper is to sit behind people and auto fire.
