Granted, it was an unusual game, but I certainly wouldn't have been able to do it without the lifesteal buff. It's one of those things that's kind of situational: would lifesteal give you the survivability you need to actually kill one for the REAL health boost? If so, it's definitely something to consider. Anyway, well-written!
Later, that damage becomes less useful because heros will have more hp but healing your allies is always good. As someone said in the comments, Bloodseeker does not do a lot for his teammates, well with an urn he can heal at least. You should try it out.
Regarding the Urn however, I find a Magic Stick or Wand more useful especially in early game. The Urn would be reasonable later in the game when more Team fights or when you start going on the prowl for victims.
if you need the evasion, and cannot afford a eagle song, get a halberd. If you can afford the egle song, don't die and get one so you can make a butterfly (since the other parts of a butterfly are easy to get)
The offensive power of a butterfly is too much to just dismiss because it is too expensive, but I do agree that the defensive power of halberd is nothing to scoff at. It is just unusual for anything but a support to get a halberd.
As you say, stalker and magnus use their spells to offset the ranged advantage. Bloodseeker is not ranged so they dont have to use their spells to lasthit. The can use it to harrass you instead.
Of couse, if you are smart you predict when they try to use a spell and silence them but the cast range of Blood Rage is not that great. These tanky str heroes wont worry too much about the Blood Rage damage if they are full hp.
4 stat levels gives you 152 HP.
Night stalker and magnus in pro games often use
Skywrath has yet to be played in pros, so just high level pub plays I have seen that use his nuke (and you might as well, when mid, cast spells anyway to use the bottle you intend to get to it's fullest)
Another reason why we go for the halberd early is because we get lots of stats, remember. Theses stats give us the hp required for the evasion to become worthwile. With 4 statslevels we get about 350 bonus hp. The idea is to be tanky because your points in Blood Bath will be wasted if you dont survive or are so squishy so you overheal (no joke that happens when you kill someone with a

You are absolutely 100% correct that Heaven's Halbert is a better mid game item, but in real games... you don't play the game hoping to snowball, you just take advantage of the opportunity to.
I agree, with one exception. In the mid lane, almost every respectable mid hero is a casting semi-carry/ganker. In cases like
If you are looking for an anti carry item, the
The item progression in this build consists of small cheap items, to benefit your snowballing. With every bit of gold, you get something that lets you snowball a little bit more.
