HI, my name is Shern, and this is my first guide. I've played Ursa for a pretty damn long time and over that period, I have learnt and experimented almost every way to play the Ursa. And while not seen in the common META game, he is still one of the best pub bashers there is.

I'm going to be showing you how to own with Ursa, how to carry your team, how to dominate, and how to react to every situation.

I WILL NOT be telling you the Ursa summary or other ********, because I'm sure you already know that Ursa is a flawless beast, almost.

LETS GET MOIST.

PRO'S & CONS

PRO'S
STRONG CARRY
GOOD TANKER
DURABLE
RELIABLE DAMAGE
ABLE TO RAMBO WITHOUT MUCH CONSEQUENCES
NICKNAMED "FUZZY-WUZZY"

CON'S
OFTEN KITED
MANA PROBLEMS LATE GAME
HOMOSEXUAL

SKILL-BUILD BREAKDOWN

PERSONALLY, i try to get 2 levels of overpower BECAUSE i think you need at least that amount of attacks to kill someone, and since ursa is such a strong early gamer, i feel it would be wasted should you not get any kills.

The REASONS why I save HULK SMASH for last:
ONE, you do not enjoy it's full potential till you have a blink dagger
TWO, Ursa simply does not have the mana capacity to use EARTHSHOCK

AND, while some people may argue it is safer to get a level of Earthshock at level 4, I completely disagree, as not only is a level 1 earthshock simply pitifull, you would STILL have better DPS investing it in overpower or furyswipes.

EARLY GAME

ONE THING YOU SHOULD NEVER DO IS JUNGLE AN URSA, thats sh*t is absolutely ridiculous, your lane farm is twice as fast as your jungle farm.

FIRST OF ALL, lane with a good support, e.g. crystal maiden or Rhasta, make sure the support pulls or harrasses, and by all means keep the enemies at half hp, more often than not, opportunities will arise to kill.

Killing is all about the body language, establish yourself as a beast not to be messed with, such that the enemies do not attack you, but be slightly passive such that they do not see you as THAT much of a threat, however, most people know well enough not to get too close to the bear.

A GOOD TACTIC: make your support hide behind the trees, and when your opponent gets closer to last hit, have your support stun/slow them and give you a free pass to slash at their face.

In case should your support have no stun, and only has a slow, and your lane opponents are blinkers or dashers, do not bother getting boots and just farm your Vlad's.

ROSHAN

IT WOULD BE SMART TO USE SMOKE TO GET INTO ROSH'S PIT. Better spend a hundred gold rather than get ganked while roshing.

QUICK BEATING THE **** OUT OF ROSHAN GUIDE
1. Hit Roshan with Enrage active about 10 times
2. use overpower once or twice to finish roshan off
3. don't hesitate to use overpower should your health get low

After that, work towards your Blink dagger

POST BLINK

Congratz, the hard part is over, almost.NOW YOU HAVE YOUR BLINK, ganking and carrying has become twice as easy now. Be sure to buy dust to kill invisible targets and smokes if needed to NINJA pass wards

GANKING, hide behind some trees and watch your target, #STALKER, then activate overpower & enrage, blink in, smash the ground, and slash your opponent's face off.

A general tactic would be to blink in the direction you think your target will run, if he is stupid enough to run past you, you can easily pound him at least thrice.

Thats what she said.

CARRYING and DOMINANCE

INITIATION, you should try staying away from doing a first hand initiation, however, should it be your duty to, try to communicate with the support to take the pressure off you after you have used up your 6 attacks.

AN URSA CANT DIE WHILE ATTACKING WITH OVERPOWER, true, but what happens when your overpower finishes? Ursa is a huge victim of crowd control.
THATS WHERE YOUR BKB COMES IN, magic immunity will help you leave battle through the front door to chase your fleeing target, while garunteeing you can come back into the fight the do some serious damage and THEN choose a new victim.

FIGHTING IS ALSO ALL ABOUT CHOOSING YOUR TARGETS WISELY, establish to your team what you are CAPABLE OF. do not go for a target that you cannot kill, knowing your enemy is one of the key aspects of DOMINATION.

ONE MAN ARMY BREAKDOWN

2 ASPECTS OF THE ONE MAN ARMY CLASS, OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE.
Pretty straight forward stuff, adds a punch to your attack

COUNTER CARRIES, NOT TO BE UNDERESTIMATED. This sh*t will make sure Ursa will not be out classed by the hard carries, e.g. Void or Phantom Assassin.

ADDS A HUGE PUNCH TO YOUR INITIATION, Radiance will pack a punch in your damage AND make you immune to counter-initiators with a blink dagger
Shiva's solves your mana issues AND gives you extra tankiness in combination with a large AoE slow, helping you clean the faces off more noobs.

SITUATIONAL

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND A SHADOW BLADE, MIND YOU, but sometimes you may need it if you find your team COMPLETELY ******ed, needing a nifty escape to leave battle.
A COURIER IS ALWAYS NEEDED, even if your supports are stupid, don't be stingy. HOWEVER, Be sure to let them know that they are F**king Sh*tHeads who deserve to get run over by a flaming bus.
LINKENS IS ONE OF THE BETTER SITUATIONALS, many a time, some douchebag will save his stun till your BKB has ended, plus it also solves your mana issues.
I would NOT recommend a daedalus as you do not really have the slot for it, also you do not get its full use, i would rather spend the money on more reliable items.

I would only recommend a talisman should the enemy team have alot of tankiness AND Right-click, like 5 other Ursa's, but that seems unlikely.
The SANGE&YASHA is STRICTLY situational, only get as a replacement for a Blink Dagger, you should only do this when the other team has low mobility, e.g. no blinks or dashes, and your team has a solid initiation combo, such as sand king with earthshaker

YOUR F**KIN STUPID SHOULD YOU GET THESE ITEMS.

URSA's Main damage is from his health, not his agility, don't waste your gold or inventory slots

HEROES URSA LOVES.

BASICALLY, ANY HERO THAT CAN HELP YOU OWN IN THE EARLY LANING PHASE.

HERO'S URSA HATES.

THE ONLY HEROES THAT URSA HATES ARE HEROES WITH DISABLES THAT GO THROUGH BKB, such as BEASTMASTER or MAGNUS

BEATING UP ROSHAN AT LEVEL 1

This is what Ursa's Legacy is famous for, beating the Sh*t out of Roshan, this can be done in a variety of ways, and in some cases the starting level. there are many combinations to do this, but i'll just list my favourites.

you should be looking to alternate yourself between yourself and lich while lich spam's hisice armour on you.

pretty straight forward, skeleton's kingsvampiric aura and your combination of salves should get you through it, should you have good communication and micro yourself well

CONCLUSION

FINALLY, thank god, conclusion, I hope you enjoy playing Ursa as much as I do. And as a final note, the one thing you should keep with you is knowing how to react to EVERY situation, never be caught off guard, with that, look for the standard 25 kills or more with each Ursa match.

"Have I ever told you the DEFINITION of insanity? INSANITY is... DOING THE SAME F**KING THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN, expecting..sh*t to change."
-Vaas Monegro

By the way, I HAVE AN URSA ALPINE STALKER'S KIT AND I BET YOU DON'T, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
