Rhasta is a very strong pusher and disabler. He usually lanes solo mid but he also works fine with allies to abuse shackle's long disable.
Use your ultimate to take towers down quickly - take care so that there are enough creeps to tank and remember to manually control the wards.
It is possible to trap opponents inside your wards. Melee heroes attacking you are very easy targets, while Voodoo-ed heroes require some more skill. (Some people like getting Eul's for this - I think it is overkill)
Voodoo puts a strain in your mana - if you aren't comfortable with this, max Shackle first instead.
