Key Strategy

Key strategic elements to consider when playing Omniknight

• Consider swapping lanes if there is a need for sustain and spell immunity on the other side lane.
• Omniknight is a fairly weak laner. Focus on creep equilibrium, pulling and zoning opponents` support.
• Avoid using Purification only to heal. Secure a ranged creep last hit or damage opponents at the same time.
• If you can run down an opponent on the lane and have nothing to dispel, take Hammer of Purity on Level 1.
• Avoid showing yourself at the start of the fight as you are the primary target for opponents.
• Dispels are a big problem for Omniknight. Be mindful when using Guardian Angel.
• Aghanims Scepter is a massive spike for your entire team as it gives you a bigger AoE on Guardian Angel to affect more heroes as well as behave as a glyph for buildings.
• A late game Refresher combined with Aghanims Scepter makes it extremely difficult for the enemy team to destroy your buildings and helps you prolong the game if you are behind.
