Of the Night Stalker, there is no history, only stories. There are ancient tales woven into the lore of every race and every culture, of an impossible time before sunlight and daytime, when night reigned alone and the world was covered with the creatures of darkness--creatures like Balanar the Night Stalker.
It is said that on the dawn of the First Day, all the night creatures perished. All, that is, save one. Evil's embodiment, Night Stalker delights in his malevolence. He created the primal role of the Night Terror, the Boogeyman, and as long as there have been younglings, his is the specter summoned to terrify them. This is a role he relishes; nor are these empty theatrics. He does indeed stalk the unwary, the defenseless, those who have strayed beyond the lighted paths or denied the warnings of their communities. Night Stalker serves as living proof that every child's worst nightmare....is true.

Good Base Damage

One of the best Gankers in the game

One of the few heroes where you can build both an agnms and a armlet
CON'S
Has a hard time if you cannot make something happen in the first night
Kill reliant
Almost always requires armlet
Countered by good enemy ward vision
I prefer Powertreads on Nightstalker because of the extra attack speed and survivability. Survivability is what I like to build on nightstalker, because you already have really good base damage and you get HEAPS of attack speed from your passive, Hunter in the Night plus the power treads.
Power treads also allow you to spam your spells a little bit more, or tread switch to get the dark seer who would have gotten a away with you void.
Armlet is one of the most OP items in the game, as if used correctly can make you nearly invincible.
HOW TO ARMLET TOGGLE
When armlet is activated you gain 400 extra health, therefore even if you are on 1hp and a tower shot is about to hit you, you can turn your armlet on to gain an extra 400hp. Essentially if you can toggle quickly enough between enemies attacks, you cannot die because you will always get that +400 health.

Armlet On
Enemy attack
Repeat
