Sniper is an agility carry hero. He is extremely squishy, making him one of the hardest heroes to play in pro games. His great asset is the amount of damage that he can dish out (one of the few to do insane amount of damage: For example kill a bristle back in a matter of seconds, and believe me... I did that a lot)). Nevertheless, he is also quite versatile (at least in my opinion). He can take on a pushing role, fighting role, or roaming. As well as farming. If you allow him to farm he will destroy if if you don't, simple. You or take him on in a fight or he takes you on in seconds. Even with a lot of items sniper usually never gets anything into his HP/Armour/Spell resistance. Items like BKB and Eye of Skadi are typical and add a bit of survivability, however a part from that he is extremely easy to kill through out the game, making him and unstable carry.
