What the hero is


Medusa is a late-game carry whose survival depends on mana instead of HP.

She is:
Weak early
Fast-farming midgame
Extremely strong late if not pressured

When to pick


Pick Medusa when:

Enemy lineup is slow or low-tempo
They lack heavy mana burn or early push
Your team can delay the game

Avoid her when:

Enemy wants to end early
There are strong illusion/mana burn cores

Game plan

Early game


Focus on survival, not fighting
Use Mystic Snake to secure ranged creeps and restore mana
Start taking jungle camps as soon as possible

Your goal: stable farm without deaths

Mid game


Build toward Manta Style and Skadi
Farm lanes and jungle efficiently
Join only safe or forced fights

You are a scaling damage dealer, not an initiator

Late game


Play around teamfights, not side farming
Stand where Split Shot hits real heroes
Use Stone Gaze only when enemies commit

At this stage, you become extremely hard to kill

Fighting rules


Don’t waste Stone Gaze early
Manta is for damage + dispel, not panic
Positioning matters more than items
Split Shot must hit heroes to be effective
Common mistakes
Farming too slowly or inefficiently
Fighting before core items
Misusing ult defensively or too early
Poor positioning in fights
Core idea

Mana is your health bar.
More mana = more survival + more power.
