Well Drow Ranger is a good killer because of her skills that can slow and silence you're enemies. She can laso carry a team id played the right way, also Drow is good for segwaying / pushing, because of her dragon lance she will be out of the enemy's tower range but be careful of enemys comig on you're back.
In the Early Game you're attack speed will be pretty much slow and you're damage will be pretty much weak. But once you acquire you're ss which is the "Marksmanship" you're damage will tear you're enemy's bar health down, and this is also a sign that you can now kill creeps easily. You can also harass you're enemies by using you're first skill.
In the mid game you should be able to gank some enemies if you have the Shadow Blade, this can also help you escape (pretty sure you guys know that. You should also be able to chase enemies and destroy enemy towers because of you're Dragon Lance that allows you to attack further (But make sure that you have visibility of the tower, I recommend that you wait for creeps to go in first before attacking the tower).
In the late game you should be able to kill enemies by you're self (pray that they don't counter you're build). you should also somehow be able to push tower alone. So in this time of the game you should roam around and kill enemies (But always have you're shadow blade ready because you're enemies may ambush you while roaming). Well that's pretty much it.
