Early Game

While in laning phase, your items are not expensive, so do not put yourself into danger to get last hits. Levels are more important for this build. Once you get the Poor Mans shield, you can afford to take some hits as the damage block will keep you alive. From here, you can either stay in lane until level 6 then go gank lanes, or stay a bit longer and get some more levels behind you. Your call.
Before mid game hits, you should have collected these items. Power treads and vlads. Power treads should make sense and vlads is both to give life steal and more importantly, it gives damage amp. This will let ranged carries burst down anyone in your sphere. Solar crest is an optional item here because it offers a lot. If you get it, make sure to use it and get kills. If you don't use it, you may as well just keep going on.

Mid Game / Late Game

Once you have collected your early game items, congrats you hit mid game. You should be joining any important fights. Chrono any enemy you find and wipe them.
By now you should have your q maxed. We are maxing your w next because at this early into the game, not being able to cast spells completely ruins teams and the slows will make them sitting ducks. Use the w right when the chrono is done to make sure it gets its maximum effectiveness.
Join enough fights and you should get the money for a blink dagger. Get this and you are done with the main part of the build. From there you have to look at how the game is going.

Need cheap damage? Echo
Need to deal with casters? diffusal and manta / blood thorn (both work in dealing with them, just in different ways. Use manta build if you need extra damage. Use blood thorn if you can burst them down during the silence.)
Need more time to kill? Aghs

Think of questions like this when deciding your next items. As time goes on, you will become the carry of the team. Build accordingly.

Slashers way

Hi, 4k player here who reported slasher. Slasher was our position 1 faceless void. He built a mek and had around 29 healing salves in his inventory. He would chrono both teams in the middle of a fight, salve his allies, pop mek, and proceeded to yell "SLASHER'S WAY". We gave him position 1 farm so he could be a position 5. Granted, his unorthodox build worked and carried us to victory but I still felt it deserved a report.
