Traxex aka Drow Ranger is a ranged agility hero with longer range than other hero on starting game. In late game, sniper will be the longest range. Drow Ranger has really high agility and damage from her skill. In late game, she will be dealing huge amount of damage in very short time.
First Skill : Frost Arrow
I don't max this skill, not as effective as other skill in my opinion. Level up this 1 level, to harass the enemy hero without getting hit by the enemy creep. Use the skill by pressing keyboard key and mouse click on the enemy hero. Not auto-casting. Auto-casting will consider normal attack which will lead the enemy creep to attack you.
Second Skill : Silence
3rd important skill.This skill allows you to AOE silent all enemy hero for 2/3/4/5 seconds in that area. Good during team fight, also good when one on one fighting hero with damaging skill, timing on casting it is very important too.
Third Skill : Trueshot Aura
Important skill for granting extra high damage for her own and her teamate.In late game, with the extra items that pump up her agility and damage item, this skill can pump up extra 100~200 damage. Not to forget about the damage increased on allies too.
Ultimate Skill : Marksmanship
best skill ever ! increase your agility by 15 each level.Level it up whenever it's possible.
From beginning , farm and farm and more farm , at same time use first skill to harass enemy hero. Until you get core item , then can help gank a bit , and MORE FARMING. Play safe , look at map all the time. Drow Ranger always a target for enemy team to gank , low hp and easy kill.
After you bought orb of venom , you can harass the enemy hero more easily.Poison + frost = slow~
After bought core item, then you can help ganking abit then farm more more more.
Late game , bought eye of skadi and satanic , there's no need to use first skill anymore. Your normal attack will be gaining you frost attack and life steal the same time.
Ethereal blade vs Butterfly
Ethereal blade deals magic damage based on your agility , also make you and your target become ethereal form which make only magic can hit on both of you.
Butterfly gives you evasion , which is a good when you bought all the above item , you should have medium amount of hp. With the help of satanic , it is hard to kill you.
Why no BKB ? If you uses BKB , it will let everyone knows that which are you. Manta style no longer as effective as before. And BKB doesn't give good damage/stat/attack speed compare to others. So i would suggest more hp to counter magic + hex.
With skadi , satanic active , manta style , ethereal blade / butterfly , you can kill enemy easily while hardly be kill.
