Introduction

Welcome! To my third guide on DotaFire! This time I'll be focusing on the hero Tauren Chieftan. One of my favorite heroes from the first Dota, and should be released relatively soon. When he was created in 6.60, Cairne was in AUTOKILLEVERYONETHENWIN-tier, but unfortunately he received a bit of a nerf. Even now, he still imo dominates teamfights and is held in the highest regard as an insane initiator. Hopefully with the help of this guide i can help you to understand the role and responsibilities which is bestowed upon you as Cairne. As like all myy guides, they are built off of my own personal experience and ideas, please respect the fact thank: im better than you and stuff so im right. (lol jk<3) leave some positive criticism in the comments and up-vote!

Pros and Cons

Pros:


  • Insanely long range initiation skills.
  • One of the strongest team-buffing aura in the whole game.
  • 5 second stun
  • All skills synergies great with each other.

The spirit and Tauren Chieftain both deal 80 damage in the area, the Spirit dealing magical damage and the physical form dealing physical damage. Unconscious enemies will wake if they get hit. If the spirit is separated from you, it will still perform its part of the spell.

The Tauren Chieftain sends forth his guardian ancestor to bring ruin upon his foes. While separate from the Chieftain, the spirit will mimic his movement and damage any unit it passes through. When it rejoins the Chieftain, it grants him bonus damage and movement speed for each enemy it has struck.
