Seriously only buy tangos if you really need to, its better to spend on armor than first buy healing items. if you find yourself needing healing items a lot feel free to change the ring of protection to a couple of tangos.
Late game you will most likely want to sell in your Ring of Bassilus and Magic Wand to clear space for items like the Heart, Cuirass or Rod of atos, keep the vanguard for block and health and the boots for the speed.
