Introduction

Hey guys, this is my first guide on DOTAFire so please bare with me and give me any feedback you wish. For this guide, I will be talking about one of my favorite heroes in the game at the moment, which is Bloodseeker.

Pros & Cons

Pros:
Really good ganker
Can survive in lane
Easy hero to last hit with
Good ult to prevent escape

Cons:
Susceptible to stuns
Has no stuns
Quite item dependent
Hard to deal with ranged heroes

Bloodrage

Bloodrage is Bloodseeker's first ability. Bloodrage heals the killer when active for 25% of the health of the hero or creep who died. It also increases damage output by 25%, but makes damage input increased by 25% as well. One of the most effective uses of bloodrage can be used on a ranged hero and have them build a dragon lance if they can outrange a tower with the extra 140 attack range. This will give you really easy damage output to towers without having to worry about the towers hitting your team and having them gank that one hero and getting farm. Bloodrage helps you stay in lane longer so you can get the farm your enemies are missing out when they have to go back to base to heal for whatever reason which is why I suggest you max it first.

Bloodrite

Bloodrite is a really strong ability with bloodrage. It combos really well with his ult, Rupture, as well. In team fights, if the team is moving around and you know you won't be able to hit an enemy or two, a good idea is to use it on creeps with bloodrage active. This will heal you if you manage to kill any of the creeps and make it so you are able to keep fighting.

Thirst

Thirst is one of the most broken abilities in the game. As heroes get lower in health, you gain more damage and movement speed. This is a huge factor in team fights because when the enemies all get low, you can get up to 1000 movement speed and a lot more bonus damage. The reason I don't recommend you maxing this out like a lot of people do is because it already has good base buffs and when you fight, your bloodrage will heal you and increase your damage output with your bloodrite. Also, bloodrite is a pure spell, so it can hurt heroes such as pa with a lot of damage when you can't normally right click her because of her blur ability.

Rupture

Rupture is bloodseeker's ult and a very good one. Rupture can be combo'd with many heroes in the game because of how it hurts them. For example, Pudge can hook someone ,who is standing in place and afraid to move and die, and deal pure damage with the hook. When the hook comes back, the rupture will hurt them because it still counts as movement and it will give you bonus damage and movement speed to finish them off or chase another hero while your team cleans off the one that is almost dead. This is the ability that makes blood really scary early game and possibly, if played right, late game.

Early Game

Bloodseeker's early game is really strong. His ability to rupture someone and use his bloodrite to either do pure damage or have them run with rupture on is insane. Once that combo has started, just bloodrage and start hitting them. If they are killing you, back off and try to last hit or deny creeps so you can heal before going back in. A really big counter to bloodseeker is troll warlord. He can easily kill you with lifesteal and fervor. If you are playing against troll, I recommend using you're bloodrite before rupturing so you can force him to move. If you want to fight him, use bloodrage and go in and start right clicking. When your ult runs out, if he goes back to farming creeps, fight him again because his fervor stack is broken. If he is going back to base, avoid towers and try to force him to go a certain way with bloodrite where your team might be waiting or you might be able to get a kill easier. Most people focus on running so when you bloodrite in front of them and have the tip of the rite on them, they just keep running hoping they can outrun it and you will be able to get off free damage.

Mid Game

This might be a really bad idea for most; however, it is a good idea for you to farm during this stage of the game. This does include hero kills; however, don't just run into a fight unless you can win because if you don't have farm as a bloodseeker, you become really useless late game. You should have pretty decent farm at this point if you properly ganked and know how to last hit. A good idea is if your team is having a team fight and they can win or almost win, go to a lane where they aren't at and farm. This might seem like a selfish move at first and your team might beat you up because of it, but they will thank you later. Trust me. When you get your farm up, you can than gank enemies that are off farming by themselves. At this point, it should be about 30-35 minutes into the game.

Late Game

Like I have stated in the previous section, bloodseeker dies off really fast if not properly farmed. One of the reasons we get radiance is because you dont want to get hit constantly or you will be nuked. If you are properly farmed during this stage of the game, you should be playing with the team if you are winning or split pushing if possible if you are losing. Bloodseeker is a really good team fighter but also a really good hero to do pick offs with. He has an amazing damage output with bloodrage so that makes him good at pushing. He can also bloodrage a siege creep and make it damage the tower by that much more. As a bloodseeker, you rely on your supports to ward the map because he is a really squishy hero in the beginning of the game. Though most people don't think so, bloodseeker will die early game before getting levels and a few items.

Runes

HasteThis can be useful in combonation with your thirst but if another teammate needs it more, let them have it.
InvisibilityThis is a really good rune for you because you can pull off a lot of good ganks or chase down enemies when they think they are safe.
Double DamageThis is probably the best rune you can get as bloodseeker because it increases your damage output immensely.
BountyHonestly, you don't really need this rune because of how fast you can farm.
IllusionA lot of the bloodseeker guides I have read said this rune is really useless. However, this is the second best rune for bloodseeker, especially if you have your radiance. You can send your illusion into the enemies jungle and farm there. The radiance will hurt them and you aren't in risk. It also takes farm away from the enemy team and you may make the enemy use a lot of moves on your illusion if they aren't that bright.

Final Chapter

Well I hope you guys enjoyed this guide. Remember to let me know if there is anything I can improve on and if you have questions about my guide or how you can play your blood with my guide better, feel free to let me know. Thanks again and have a great day :D.
