A Different Kind of Drow Ranger Draft

I mention in my guide that drow support is viable, like you can technically do it. It does waste some of your potential but you can do it. The biggest problem with this draft is that even with all those "damage buffs" you only get those buffs when you are around the hero(except drow, but her aura isn't great till later in the game). Also, if you choose to max those abilities soon you will be sacrificing other skills and may not be as effective. Finally, the draft is complete paper, like a strong wind will knock all 5 of those heroes over until mid game. SO if you go up against an Axe or something you are gonna have a reallllly bad time. It might work a lot better if you throw like a medusa and at least one melee in there.

I feel that drow makes a great support, however is better played as a snowballing semi carry. To play her as a support is to waste her potential, like playing chaos knight or wraith King as one.

I did theorycraft a support Drow Ranger myself, but the problem with a 4 position Drow is that, without farm, you're squishy as all hell (even a Drow with a Drums Manta isn't all that tanky, but without items, the hero is just paper), and all it takes is for the enemy team to nuke the drow down with either AoE or a focused spell, and suddenly, your team loses the bonus damage, and is left gimped in the teamfight.

The draft idea is nice but why didn't u open a general guide with draft ideas?
Would have fit much better and you could have added more ideas if you wanted to
