Yep. It's time.

Here's a 6.89 wishlist for debate/discussion/general ****posting. Those of you on Discord would've seen some of this earlier, but there's a lot of strange stuff in there otherwise;


-New global mechanic: Alone. Alone triggers when there are no allied units within 250 units of a hero.

-Hellbear Smasher damage reduced to 44-50.
-Hellbear damage reduced to 36-41.
-Swiftness Aura attack speed increased to 25.
-Dark Troll Summoner Skeleton Warrior movement speed increased to 315.
-Dark Troll Summoner Ensnare cooldown decreased to 13.


-If cast on an enemy, Mist Coil now inflicts the target with Abaddon's current level of Curse of Avernus.

Arc Warden
-Flux reworded to 'has no effect unless the enemy hero is Alone'.
This is a very slight nerf of 25 units to Flux's area.

-Greevil's Greed gold cap reduced to 12/16/20/24.
-Greevil's Greed now has an active that instantly kills a creep and grants 200 gold. This ability has a 70 second cooldown.
-Chemical Rage now grants 3/4/5 bonus armour.
-Chemical Rage base attack time reduced to 1.4/1.3/1.2.

-For the love of god, improve his attack animation.
-Intelligence gain increased to 1.95.

Faceless Void
-Time Lock now deals 40/55/70/85 damage + 40% of Void's agility.

-Flak Cannon count increased from 3/4/5/6 to 4/5/6/7.
-Flak Cannon duration increased to 25.
-Aghanim's Scepter side gunner now attacks with the same attack speed as Gyrocopter himself, and has an additional +30 damage.

Legion Commander
-Base attack time reduced to 1.55

-Agility gain increased to 3.1.
-Split Shot now only reduces raw damage. Base damage is not reduced.

Ogre Magi
-Movement speed reduced to 290.
-Ignite mana cost increased to 105.

Outworld Devourer
-Range reduced to 430.
-Base armour reduced by 1.

Phantom Assassin
-Stifling Dagger cooldown increased to 10 seconds.
-Phantom Strike reworked.
Phantom Strike

-Blur reworked.

-Coup de Grace critical strike chance increased to 20%.
-Coup de Grace critical strike modifier decreased to 200%/275%/350%.
-Whenever Coup de Grace critically strikes, the cooldowns on Phantom Assassin's spells are reset.

Phantom Lancer
-Strength gain increased to 2.1.
-Base attack time improved to 1.55.
-Doppelganger illusion damage increased to 40%/10%.
-Doppelganger illusion duration increased to 20.
-Illusions of Phantom Lancer can now only replicate if they are within 1550 units of the main hero.

Queen of Pain
-Scream of Pain damage increased to 100/175/250/325
-Sonic Wave cooldown reduced to 130/100/70.

Shadow Demon
-Disruption illusion damage reduced to 20%/35%/50%/65%.
-Disruption cooldown increased to 32/29/26/23.
-Soul Catcher reworked.
Soul Catcher

-Purge capabilities of Demonic Purge improved. Is now a strong purge.

-Take Aim and Headshot are now condensed into a single ability.
-New active on his E: Shatter Round.
Shatter Round

-Assassinate now renders Sniper invisible and phased until the shot connects. He remains invisible for 1.5 seconds after this.
-Added an Aghanim's upgrade for Sniper: Assassinate fires a volley of three bullets that hit the nearest 3 Heroes within the range. Damage reduced to 250/415/550.

-Turn rate improved to 0.7.
-Spectral Dagger now deals pure damage.
-Desolate reworded to function on heroes who are Alone.

-Avalanche cooldown reduced to 13.
-Craggy Exterior bonus armour increased to 3/4/5/6.
-Grow attack speed loss reduced to 15/25/35.
-Aghanim's Scepter now gives Tiny a 30% chance to slow for 20% for 3 seconds on attack in addition to its other effects.

Troll Warlord
-Base damage increased by 4.

-Gravekeeper's Cloak is now removed only by the attacks of Heroes and Roshan.
-Base magic resist increased to 15%.
-Movement speed increased to 295.


Note before I begin: While there are nerfs to serial offenders like Hurricane Pike here, they're not going to at all reduce its rate of purchase. I haven't actually done it in these notes, but I believe the solution to its ubiquity is to add a number of other items that fulfill similar functions, but in very different ways. Consider, instead of Pike, an item that passively supresses crowd control, as an example. These would ideally be priced similarly, so they are in direct competition.

- Black King Bar can now be upgraded to level 2. Level 2 Black King Bar does not refresh the spell immunity timer, but the minimum duration is 6.5 seconds.
+10/14 Strength
+24/32 damage

- Diffusal Blade can now be upgraded to level 3. Level 2 has been rescaled accordingly.
+20/30/40 Agility
+6/10/15 Intelligence
+40/50/60 mana burn (20/25/30 on illusions)

- Hurricane Pike recipe cost increased to 800.
- Hurricane Pike Agility bonus reduced to 15.
- Hurricane Pike cooldown increased to 16.

- Heaven's Halberd reworked.
Components: Sange, Hyperstone, Recipe(800). Total: 4850
+22 Strength
+40 damage
+55 attack speed
Active: Heavenburst: Unleashes a burst of energy of 500 unit radius that applies a 35% blind and a 10% slow to all enemies hit. Lasts 6 seconds.
Passive: Lesser Maim. Gives a 20% chance to slow by 20%/10% for 4 seconds.

- Heart of Tarrasque now has an active, trading the passive regen for 8 armour and 10% magic resistance while active. Lasts 6 seconds, on a 25 second cooldown.

- Infused Raindrops magic block reduced to 105.
- Infused Raindrops cooldown increased to 8.

- Rod of Atos reworked.
Components: Point Booster, Staff of Wizardry, Staff of Wizardry, Recipe(1350). Total: 4550
+225 Health and Mana
+10 Strength
+30 Intelligence
+10 Agility
+50% mana regeneration
Passive: Cripple. Attacks have a 20% chance to hit twice, the second hit dealing 85 damage and slowing movement and attack speed by 40% for 4 seconds.

-NEW ITEM: Izura (2050)
Ingredients: Staff of Wizardry, Robe of the Magi, Recipe (600)
+16 Intelligence
+50% mana regeneration
+5% spell damage

On that note…

Sange and Izura (4100)
Ingredients: lol guess
+16 Intelligence
+16 Strength
+16 damage
+50% mana regeneration
+5% spell damage
Passive: Greater Maim.

Izura and Yasha (4100)
Ingredients: ?
+16 Intelligence
+16 Agility
+16 attack speed
+50% mana regeneration
+16% movement speed
+5% spell damage

Kusanagi (6150)
Ingredients: Sange, Yasha and Izura
+20 to all stats
+20 damage
+20 attack speed
+100% mana regeneration
+16% movement speed
+9% spell damage
Passive: Cosmic Maim. Grants a 30% chance to slow by 26%/13% for 5 seconds, and reduce the enemy's magic resistance by 6%.
Active: Exudes an aura of cold 300 units around the hero, that slows the movement and attack speed of enemies within it by 25%.

I remember smuggel saying how 6.84 would be called 7.0a

And i thought, maaaaaan. I need to troll the community with some patch progression.

So there you have it.

I must also take cognisance of my absence from here. Working hard has its own perils like my liver issues, but I came up with yet another patch to trigger folks and incite new ways of playing dota. Your game is going from defense of the ancients to the conquest of the ancients. It's not gonna be the same
