How long would t normally take if I signed up for my own key? Is it a really long line up??

Its because there are so many people applying, its the most played game on Steam. It really shouldn't be too hard to find a free key, every owner of Dota2 had had at least 4 free beta keys given to them.

Well I guess Dota is trying to limit the people that are playing the game to improve the quality of players after all it's still in beta. First impression is important for games like those which require teamwork and other team stuff

i couldnt add friends on steam bcoz i dont have a game yet. im playing from cyber cafe
