Can puck be played not on mid? If so, is it bad or not

Hamster I think you missread the question. I guess he wants to know if puck is viable if not palyed on mid.

Offlane Puck is actually pretty good if you can play him well, because of Jaunt.
Youc an basically dodge everything they throw at you. This means they can't really trade with you and you got a good escape.
Puck also doesn't need a lot of farm, she (?) is just happy if enough money for a Blink Dagger is obtained.

Hehe, Puck is an amazing hero. I'd suggest you read some guides we have here on DotAfire first. *cough cough*

Puck can be played both offlane and mid, and occasionally solo safelane.

To clarify (I think Sofa already meant this, but just making sure), Puck safe lane should be considered only when your team's 1 position hero is playing mid, like a Morphling mid, SF mid, Lycan mid, or Wisp-Tiny mid.

Playing a 1 position Puck is pretty darn risky, since the hero kinda falls off later into the game.

Yes... Usually it means you're going aggro tri with a pos.2 mid, like Jugg + Rubick + AA top, SF mid, Puck safe, etc.
