Is it just me, or am i behind the times.

I don't know what to say. I've been stuck in a rut very deep at this point. I find that no matter how well I do early, ni matter how much farm I get, the enemy destroys the midgame and leaves me and whatever team I play with unable to do ****-all, basically. I've tried carry, mid, offlaning, every lane ends the same way and it's so boring.

This game has now bored me. I didn't think it would. But I can only enjoy so many losses. Especially when most of those losses have been with my favourite characters. And I'm always met with the same response when I asked what the hell happened.

"Don't worry, we go late."

We go late. The enemy is up 30 kills for some damn reason. We are all 2 shot.

Yeah, I'm gonna get told to take a break from dota, and those kinda responses. But that's not the issue. The issue is no matter what I try I end up with about 80 cs because I am unable to anything whatsoever. Maybe it's just my hidden mmr taking a leap the size of the grand ****ing canyon, but that's not really an excuse.

This recent game, for example, I was playing Sniper mid, vs the wonderful little hero known only as Sata- I mean Viper. At exactly 21:25 when I checked this data, we both had 7 kills and he had about 30 more lasthits than me. I had one death, he had none. He had a 4 level lead. 4. 4 LEVELS. We both had less than 5 assists too, so that wasn't the reason.

But no, this isn't just one off stuff. I guess I've just lost every single thing I've learned so far about dota. Is the meta just shifting and I don't notice? People might say my item builds are the issue, but when I basically never have the gold for items that isn't it. Lasthitting is my issue? I do focus on harassing a bit too much I suppose, but... It seems that whenever I try to go to the creepwave, no matter the game, the enemy always initiates on me, or has an ally in their trees. Not even just in midlane either.

I was playing Faceless Void. It was 30 minutes in. I had 50 cs. 1/18/1. I'm a 1/18/1 void who is tired of whatever the hell is happening to me.

We all get fed up from time to time and go on these seemingly endless runs where your teams seem useless and the games unsatisfying.

The best thing to do is take a bit of a break, get some perspective and come back fresh.

I know exactly how you feel, I felt that way today. My only advice would be to either play a couple days worth of games with bots, or a couple days of games with only parties. Just don't solo que for a couple of days, and see if that helps

Yeah the way DotA is functioning in my games is weird as **** too.

It's like if you build your team with hard carries and one support it's an easy win. Remember when it was actually possible to end a game in 20 minutes?

but on topic, it is most likely due to undue aggression on your part, resulting in disproportionate deaths and missing last hits.

or maybe you are just not paying enough attention.

I'm in a similar loss hole... Or I was. Winning streak now. It's always in streaks.

Also I feel like you play Sniper, Pudge,and Axe (Boring). Play heroes that are more fun to play and have good early game potential like Slark. When I started to get more and more hours into Dota, I started choosing new heroes, and I really like Slark
