Arc Warden: how good is he?

My reasoning exactly. I mean that damage is pretty good early in the game.

But yes, better to spread in a late game teamfight.

Yes, Necros are pretty much core on any core Arc Warden playstyle, they are just too good by the time you usually get them. Plus, they are very efficient jungle farmers, especially sine lvl 2.

Well not to boast but I do have a 70% winrate on AW, albeit I haven't clocked 50 games yet, (I Don't like to play the same hero 2 times in a row).

So short simple guide for people who want to try him out.

Go midlane, ONLY midlane(safelane works but not always, I did outcarry a Medusa who had a rapier though)

Item progression : 2 shared tango, fairie fire, wraith band > bottle > midas, brown boots > necro 3 > bot

After this you can go a number of ways ranging from stats to raw rapiers, bkb, refresher and whatnot. I prefer stats and stability with manta > skadi > butter/rapier/mkb/hex/diffusal.
