When Maelrawn's soul got divided after the sundering, he did not die. Instead, his death gave birth to 2 strong beings that still haunt the world to this day. The god's children.
The Leviathan, strong, lumbering beast of the seas, that wages war on everyone that dares invade Maelrawn's realm, be it on the surface or under the high seas, still calling upon the full strength of the god whenever protecting his home. The Nagas tried high and low to find this beast's weak spot, but to no avail.
The other half however, is full of kindness, of mercy, and sprinkled with jealousy. This is Nereid, the merciful half of Maelrawn, his love, his heart, and his hatred at the same time. Nereid materialised into a form full of finesse, frail, but still master over waters. While Tidehunter guards the high seas, Nereid is in charge of the landmass's waters, the small pockets which men and women alike enjoy. All trespassers that do not ask permission to drink from the healing waters she guards will forever be tortured by the tide.

Tidal Matter too strong. I'd rather you give it a duration. :D
Blessed water is a 800 shield from damage? I think I misunderstand
I like the idea, but the thing is... The high mana cost and the primary attribute make it seem like a caster, but this hero requires a LOT of right-clicks.

Good idea!
That was the idea, something new. Also, blessed water is not an 800 shield from damage. It can heal up to 800 damage, but only heals 22 per attack performed around the protected unit, that if it doesn't run out. Orchid is like core on her, could go with maelstrom as well, into a linken's / bloodstone.
