I wanted to create a thread on techies.
They say he is noob hero, i think not. I see a lot of potential in him( a gem does not counteer techies for all i care imma die hard fan. they all group up to de-mine,get your initiator to ult on them late game)
A good hero requires skill to play and in my opinion, so does techies.

This thread will solely be made for the most celebrated hero of DoTA2: Techies.

Post your matches and gameplay, let people download them ,comment on each other's styles and lead them to ultimately improve their Techies.
This means any unconventional builds you have or want to do, any that you have done, item suggestions, mining spots, when to use suicide, how to fool enemy, troll builds, anything and everything to show your love for techies( heck, even art is welcome) 6.83 is coming after all fellas.
I will start by my game.

We lost but we could have ended the game early. All but one of my death is not a suicide which happened late game.
All suggestions on my gameplay are welcome and be sure to post your games so i can see them too!!!

See you on the Minefield.

There are generally 3 noob(wrong ways to play) types of Techies.
1. The 'screw lane exp' AFK miners. 25 minutes into the game, and level 1 mines clusters are still scattered around the map and now they can't even kill their CM. Thanks, techies!
2. The 'oh gawd all Tier 1's are down, gotta go defensive' techies. I used to do this, but it's not worth it most of the time. You should be pushing towers down at this stage, not stopping the other team from doing the same. Techies can push towers so easily with his mines, especially with the 6.83 buff.
3. The 'oh hey all the Tier 2's are down and they are pushing, better keep mining the same spots' techies. The key to Techies I suppose is knowing the right mix of offense and defense for any situation. If you're too offense based, then the 4v5 aspect of techies will get your enemies pushing down your rax without any trouble.

I do feel like the biggest tip for playing techies is knowing how to adjust your offensive/defensive mining ratios to fit the game.
Oh, and if they get gem/wards hide the mines just inside treep clumps. For example, right next to the Tier 1 radiant mid tower. A clump of remote mines on both sides will keep it covered.
