I've been thinking of blink on ember spirit as a way of initiating while playing safe, or as a means of escape. You can use blink during sleight of fists, so depending on the amount of enemy creeps and heroes around you, you could potentially make yourself immune before blinking out. It would also be better for initiation since you could use a remnant at your tower, blink in, kill, and still have an escape. You would also be less tied to your remnant counter which can be cumbersome if you are too active in ganking.

My main issue is that the gold spent on this would set back more damaging and farm worthy items, and its use isn't exactly massive since you do not NEED to have a blink, ember can work fine without it in most cases.

Still, interesting idea, discuss?

Quoted:
Shadow Blade for ember spirit is an absolutely broken item, if used correctly. If a sleight of fist is used in the very brief fade time of shadow blade, every single sleight of fist target takes the extra 150 damage! and you stay invisible afterwards!
OP? You bet.

That's an interesting thing too!

Very cool! Thanks for the info! Very useful! That makes it an insane farming tool!

Can that occur on omnislash as well?

I think Shadow Blade is the way to go for initiation items on Ember. Ulti suffices as a blink just fine. If you're quick enough you can get off three spirits and do a hella AoE also.

Yeah, but usually, the problem with Shadow Blade on Ember Spirit is the mana that it takes, so if you have items that will allow you to have good regen or mana pool, why not?

I dont know, that'd be really cool, but if it wouldve, it would be OP as **** if you think about it, but I'm pretty sure Omnislash works differently than Sleight of Fist

The active from Shiva's Guard should follow ember during SoF as well right? Just like it follows with the hero after blink.

Yeah, I can't imagine why it wouldn't.

Skadi would be better though imo. More reliable too with ember.
